I have to be honest, Satio is wonderful but samsung is up there with them! I've only had maybe like two samsung phones because i wasn't really interested in them but, they are definitely improving. The Satio caught my eye from day one and I'm still inlove with it! To be honest guys I'm kinda liking samsung also, Nokia and Sony is still on top for me but, if I have some loose change omnia hd and pixon 12 will be in my hands also. Good job Sony,Nokia and samsung all great companies!

I usually don't like samsung, but I'm not biased and I know when they do something right. I love Sony Ericsson, but I have to admit Satio was completely outperformend by Pixon12...

I believe that for many years, Sony Ericsson with its CyberShot line, represent the supremacy of image quality on mobile phones! Image Processor Sony Exmor, which now equips mobile High End CyberShot line, is unsurpassed! In the previous generation 8-megapixel C905 model, and best of all camera phone to date, proved the effectiveness of this processor and now Satio simply mean the quality of it, easily winning the clash of image quality with the Samsung Pixon 12 !

Satio all the way, it looks like a cool phone, the UI is similar to what I've used before and sony generally make good phones :)

The pixon does seem to produce slightly better pictures but both are great and I would choose the Satio over the Pixon any day... Smartphone vs dumbphone.

Satio outperform Pixon12 in outdoors pictures which it look more sharper and more realistic colors..

as for indoor picture Pixon12 made clearer pictures then Satio thanks to wide angle

as for macro picture satio made the colors more natural then Pixon12 but Pixon12 made it little clearer picture then satio

as for me i'd go for Satio cause most of my pictures taken outdoor more then indoors

so Satio is the winner ^_^

i cant blive the satio outperforms the pixon12. well done sony!!!!

too much noise reduction algorithm on the pixon12 tries to make a virtual picture with more colors, fails there....

the macro if noticed carefully, the satio gives the true colors and real details of the objects unlike the pixon12 agn producing false colors.

in the studio, the light is more on the pixon but agn when u look at the pics pixon gives false details and colors.....

no offense to any fanboys out there, pixon12 is a grt camera phone,

but really i didnt expect the satio to win this so easily. guess sony is trying hard.

Sure, 12MP sounds amazing! But, if you ask me, I think we're losing control here... How is it important to snap photos that require a large amount of memory to be stored? If this keeps up, we're gonna need a new memory card for every photo we snap. Ridiculous, isn't it?

upon reviewing all pictures full screen, the Pixon outperforms the Satio :( do not lose hope though, the satio shall receive firmware updates to increase its camera performance

The Sony optical assembly (2.8/5.9), image processor Sony Exmor (9 mm) and the powerful xenon flash, contributed significantly to the indisputable victory of the Pixon Satio about 12, the images shown! Finally a perfect camera phone! Congratulations Sony Ericsson, unsurpassed when it comes to photography on cell phones!.

I agree with most posters here... In my opinion I think pixon performs better! By the way... are those Christmas lights hanging out of the balconies???

Pixon applies way too much noise reduction in an attempt to provide a cleaner image. This comes at the cost of per-pixel detail.

Its colors are also a bit more saturated than the Satio's. Eye-catching, but not accurate.

My vote goes to the Satio.
