Everybody recognized Sony as the only one brand that makes life in this world happier. Sony gave us the Walkman, Diskman, Playstation, Betamax, Cybershot, handycam, Bravia, Wega,Vaio,Trinitron, etc, etc.

Just imagine how pixon12 will look like after few months of usage..Faded housing, full of scratches external glass lens cover..Fade fade fade..Samsung should concentrate on their products durability and build quality..

Just that these days they are not being able to live up to it's expectations. They had 9 months still you need to rely on updates and firmwares to get the 'best' out of it!

                      Sony Ericsson phones=modify
People will modify the satio drivers and it will greatly improve the image. See the orginal driver of C905 and the modified DM 3.5 driver's image. C905 can become the best 8mp phone after modifying.

BTW, SE IDOU's miniature IMX060PQ, a 1/2.5 CMOS image sensor from the Exmor series that, apparently, has the industry’s highest Megapixel count: 12.25 MP... is yet another wonder from Sony.

Sony will also commercialize "IU060F" lens module with 12.25 effective megapixel resolution equipped with lens and auto focus functions, this module is the industry's smallest and thinnest in their class.

And with the launch of "IU060F" lens module, Sony will seek to enhance the enjoyment of taking high quality images using camera enabled mobile phones.

You see, Sony do not always rely on others to manufacture their lenses. After all, Sony is an innovator, and with Ericsson as a partner, this duo is an envy of the competition.

Bad review. Look at the photos once again, please.
                            ...
Alright, now. Acceptable, tolerable noise?. There are spots and dots larger than my thumb everywhere!. The Satio is like a damn rainbow!

Nicely Exposed... What? The photos are totally dark and lifeless!, boring colors, no light, no contrast.

"Excellent focusing"... :\.. look again at the closeup of the toys, the gum, and the clips... You can't find even ONE crisp-looking edge.. they're all blurred out.. like.. 20 pixels to change from one color to the next.. pathetic, even my old W610 could do better than that!
"There was no sign of chromatic aberrations, even in extreme conditions."
Were you looking at the photos you shot at all? Look at the edges of the first photos, for example.. the ones with the building and the street with the cars... Any of the 4 corners.. let's say the lower left one... Look at the posts.. the cars.. whatever.. the colors all bleed out, the focus is totally lost, and it looks like a Blurred Vignette effect was applied..

We're back to the 320x240 age!.
Oh, and the Xenon flash there is really crappy. N82 anybody?.

As far as I am concerned....for mobile phone camera....I will opt to trust the SATIO....even the result of the comparison test here on GSM Arena more on the side of the PIXON 12.

Speaking about thge other functions of the SATIO....I HAVE NO COMMENTS....

Hmm...looks like it is a tie between the cameras. Either way, I would go for Sony Ericsson as I want to keep using the camera. Imagine how the Samsung lens will look like after a few months of usage...who wants a 12mp camera with scratches on the lens?

Satio is an excellent phone, the difference is negligible with the first update that image quality will be the best ever.

Samsumg does things, but their products do not inspire much confidence, no doubt I would decline by Satio.
