Ok, Pixon12 wins a very small margin on image quality how about video qualty..Pixon12 records in higher resolution but lower quality video and audio..

That's all I meant.

You kept saying about how Samsung phones gets faded in just a short period of time...have you seen what happens to SE keypad after few months? Do you have the guts to admit it? This is about camera, so stick to that. Changing topic is a sign of avoiding embarrassment.
Talking about camera, why you think Samsung is at present world's third largest compact camera maker? If they are not even competitive then why people buy them? Can you name any Company that truly make their won stuff and don't adapt from others? Tell me how Sony Bravia is "different". Sony just added few features and put a logo on top of a Samsung LCD panel. Get the story?

Besides likely scratches your Pixon will have smudges all over the glass after a few weeks, and that will affect picture quality.

"Not really, SAMSUNG just ADOPT their ideas to the other electronic companies like Sony. They're just adding few touches and features to their products just to say that those products are "different". In terms of camera, they can't even produce a very competitive ones or even in greater quality like ones produced by canon, sony, nikon, fujifilm; how much more the camera in a phone? Maybe we should look around or analyze deeper before we say something like what you said."
ANother one is that Samsung phones gets faded in just a short period of time...FADE FADE FADE
Ronald F Truckker Ju, 23 Oct 200912 Megapixel camera without lens protection? If there was photo shoot-out after a month of car... moreWould you mind using your brain a little please. Both have lens cover.
Satio has mechanical cover where as Pixon has automatic lens cover.
And by the way BOTH have "a piece of protective glass" over its lens. But on Satio its BEHIND the mechanical cover and On Pixon12 as GSMarena mentioned its ON TOP of the automatic lens cover, which I couldn't identify from the pics so far.
Anonymous, 23 Oct 2009you're wrong Samsung is nothing compared to SONY.That is really true.
12 Megapixel camera without lens protection? If there was photo shoot-out after a month of carrying both phones in a pocket or handbag like every normal mobile phone, then we all know Satio will be winner by a mile. The choice here is no-brainer if you really think to buy one for actual use.

Again, sony is all show, not enough substance. there is no ifs and buts, Samsung clearly won the battle of 12mp.
We have to consider that the satio is still very new and can still have firmware updates that can improve camera performance but for now the pixon is slightly better. Not really that much of a difference. Hardware wise i think the protecting slide cover is really important. But the ability to change the proper settings for taking pictures is good. As a whole satio is definitley much much better being a smartphone with such a powerful processor that is capable of doing a lot and all that stuff.
Considering the difference in focal length is enough to distort or change visual impression, with both camera phones it is really in the hand of the user to produce stunning pictures. We can try to spot winner under such laboratory conditions, but in real life this does not matter any more.
Personally I think lens cover is primary decision point to use such a high end camera in real life, therefore sorry Pixon, my winner is Satio.
cameraphone : pixon (best in current market)
overall : satio (just between these 2 phones)
i think satio and pixon12 only can compare 12MP camera, because different price and different OS.
if sony fans want compare a symbian with a normal phone, u can compare innov8 with c905, then innov8 will beat c905 in both performance and camera part.
thx for gsmarena
Samsung 'dit' it again : High res video recording buat WITH POOR AUDIO. only AMR-NB??? please..
All high end Samsung phones record video with AMR-NB audio codec. I can't understand that. Voices are so screaky.

FYI, Sony and Ericsson are two losers in this digital age and they cannot even touch a finger to samsung in terms of mastery, sophistication and advance of technology. If we compare them about financial strength, pls dont bother to ask? LOL
we in the philippines loves cellphones but only the one with high quality... if we compare the expertise and technology its definitely the sony ericsson that will win it over. I personally dislike samsung. They just copied most of their technology in Japan. ericsson being the global power in communications equipment is great and combined with sony is a global power in this category... I say if you go to Japan they have the most High tech but not in one device. They see the photography in a REAL camera not camera phone and they use cellphone as just a way of communication. Overall I'll go for Satio. NEC, TOSHIBA, SHARP AND MITSUBISHI HAVE GREAT PHONES IN JAPAN...
