This Sony Ericsson Satio was gonna be my Samsung Galaxy back in 2009 and now seeing how far smart phones has come in the last six years...wow! No, ended up not owning this phone but it was going to be my goal to get it after having a HTC HD2 for over a year...now I see it, owning this Satio today would be considered old because soon enough, the phone itself would start glitching because it's not 4G. Anyways, all in all, this is still a good phone for memories of 2009 because things were different back then compared to today. Yes, would recommend this phone for your child when they are about to start high school because these days, we need to know our children/ren is safe from harm and hear a text or a call from them when school is over, we know they are OK-- or if they are visiting a friend for afternoon tea, it's good to know they are doing all right. :-)

I'd like to ask if Satio is prone to viruses...I do visit some adult site sometimes using my phone that was the k800i and i enountered no problems with viruses...will this be a problem with Satio given that it's symbian like Nokia phones who are very prone to viruses?
and if it is what do you recommend to do about it? Are there any mobile antivirus you can recommend?

If you start it up the first time the battery usually has a bit of charge in it, so should you let it run flat first before charging it for the first time or can you just plug in and start the charging??

Hi users, Ths is the best ph ever. Its very easy to use as well. This is the 1st tym im using SE mobile n i found it very very good. Believe me. All those who have 2nd thoughts still, dont think much , just go n get it. Make it urs. LOVE U SATIO.

Satio doesn't have any kind of voice dial, there is no way to view only the pictures in one folder, when you scroll thru contacts once i a while a contact pops uu and you need to start all fron the begin the camera is very good tough but the missing voice dial can cost you a ticket or accident

I can't understand that which phone has a standard usb port and in which phone can this big usb port can be fixed. And the Divx and Xvid are supported in the phone it is in the specifications and I think the man who wrote this review has put on some movie in the wrong codec or resolution. This problem also occurs in our PSPs. There is no such need for stereo speakers and almost every one listens music in handsfree and uses the speaker for calling mostly. And magnetometer! Still the accelerometer is not much common and he is talking about magnetometer and how many mobiles have this function. These are not disadvantages thes are some functions which thy did'nt give.
