Sony Ericsson K750 review Comments

June 2006 - December 20, 2023 (17 1/2 years).... My Sony Ericsson K750i was working from mid-2006 all the way up to less than a couple of weeks ago/back in this 2023, with the BST-37 battery it originally came with.... That battery seems to have died now forever after 17+ years of use, it had started producing symptoms of its old age though during the past 3-4 years or so where/when it struggled to hold its charge beyond 6-7 hours even if left unused requiring me to get it charged more frequently.... I'm now wondering whether to go for a new BST-37 online (These old Sony Ericsson batteries are almost impossible to be found in common stores here in 2023...) in order to retain the phone, or move on to a new phone bidding adieu to my long-time companion (K750i...) for 17+ years (which is pretty sad in its own right ...) !....
[To me, the 2.0-megapixel camera of K750i stood head & shoulders above its more-hyped competitors/contemporaries of the era 2005-2010 in terms of its overall functionality/performance. It certainly could produce some truly decent photographs, had been quite striking/outstanding for a mobile phone back then. It had been almost 450 USD back then here in Sri Lanka with the additional 512MB chip (which had to be purchased separately as the phone came with much less memory by default), it was well worth for that price to say the least....]

zildjian181, 17 Sep 2009..k750i is nice phone..i love it...nice graphics,sounds is complete nice to hear it...but i ha... morein order 2 use phone radio you need 2 insert its headset on its audio jack its because it works as radio antenna.

only had 2x zoom..
it goes up to 3.0x but after dat it stops,but whn i press it goes further to 4.0x,but not zooming

Sounds like you have one of the later K750I's with the so called upgraded camera module.
Did it have the full 4 x zoom in the largest picture setting before you flashed it to a W800?
Ive seen this problem before & its a hardware issue due to the poor quality camera module SE swooped to around the time the K800 was launched, you need to find a early K750 / W800 & swoop the camera module.

i flashed my fone to SE w800i,it wuz COOLLLLLLLLLLL!!!
but d ony problem is dat i cant seem to zoom when capturing photo..

this izz the best fone EVA....
i m using it 4 one week now, it has everything, the best 2 mp camera fone in market, u can attach walkman fone headfones on it.
