Yet another example of a phone with great hardware and features crippled by an outdated OS. No Thanks!
oh my god... if only GSMArena reviews SE phones this early --- more and more people are getting excited!!! i like this thing!!! i'm so very pretty sure that i will buy this thing!
Maka, 10 Feb 2010CP in alphabetical order...what is that comment, vivas is a great phone i want one,,,,,,
vivaz is good.....but hey have u all forgotten abt the samsung w880 which has hd@ 30fps.....which means samsung will be launching its international version very soon
CP in alphabetical order...
SE finally did it!
the first phoneequip with continuos macro.....
that's another inovation.........the macro is super cool in the testing....SE is always deliver the goods...while samsung omnia HD errr
Sony Ericsson do not seem to like Stereo speakers on there mobiles which seems very odd indeed,if they are using the software same as on the Satio, the Music Player wants updating an the Gallery alot easier for send images or songs using Bluetooth,so they better improve the features to make this a top class mobile
wow gsmarena, you've come to review a phone this early? that isn't in the store yet? Great job! and as for VIVAZ...SE has got a winner! well done
"An alliance of two tech giants" and what do they come up with : a camera phone, but Sony could have done it alone.
With Symbian OS 9.4 S60 5th they both combined couldn't beat Nokia. Its not only the OS but even the S60 interface, the product of their alliance, "UIQ" is down the drain. The only thing they could add is "custom-brewed homescreen and media menu".
And the display, forget the display for once what about its resolution nHD. Nokias anyone. Even the cheap 5230 comes with the same screen. Seems like they just want to cash in on softwares developed by/for Nokia. What losers??? Nokia, the owners of Symbian has just open sourced Symbian. Smart move Sony Ericsson.
Sony with their proprietary formats have learnt the lesson, the hard way though.
I'm a big SE fan but I'm not interested in this phone at all, mostly because I hate the idea of SE using Nokia's S60 in their phones. And after the embarrasments with the Satio, I've seen enough.
SE is going back to good old days
Thanks for the review GSMARENA. Great reading.
I'd love to check this baby out when it comes to the stores. I hope that is sooon cause I love it already!
most of the review is copy pasted from satio
I'm madly convinced, if I weren't waiting for X10, i'd buy it in a heartbeat!!
This mobile seems to be perfect, but still its missing a equalizer:(
Vivaz is great and its price is also cool 390 euros.
I'll definitely buy this beauty
Vivaz... Ha, ha! More like Lameaz to me!
it is written satio 360 spin
There are a few faults though, no stereo speakers or voice dialing will definitely irritate more then a couple of people. I think the Camera and Video capabilties are extremely good. Its good to see SE go back to there roots of having a great camera.
