That First ELSE is something...else, for lack of a better word. It's what I've been looking for in a phone for years. Nothing too flashy, just something that gets the job done, and then some.

Forget everything, First ELSE is the one for me. But I guess the OS interface will be copied soon onto the bigger brands, namely Samsung will copy it by the end of the financial year.

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2010So far, this has to be worst MWC in years. Almost every phone is crap and cheap looking, excep... moreHTC Desire is hardly a new phone, but rather a rebranded Nexus One with slightly more memory, improved video acquisition (30 fps), and a trackpad instead of a trackball.
The Legend is a slimmer, faster and sturdier Hero, thanks to a similar manufacturing process as the uniblock MacBook Pros.
HTC HD mini has a standard screen resolution, but it is the second Windows Mobile phone with a capacitive screen. It looks at least as good as the two new Android phones from HTC, which still feature that weird, unnecessary chin.

completely agree, make a left handed version, i would defo get it, so sleek and blue on black is the best look.

What about consumers who are left-handed??? If they try to use their left thumb to access the side buttons, it will obliterate their view of the screen.
If this hasn't been thought through, it is a major design flaw. Back to the drawing board folks...

[deleted post]Not entirely, the Elsie and other concept looks promising along with the HTC Desire. I think you may prefer the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini and mini pro.
In principle though, I definitely think last year's show was a lot more exciting.

Again.. GSMArena miss some. Motorola don't show only one QUENCH, They show some. 3 XT Series and 1new with qwerty. Why this team are so lazy to look around?

Well, the Dell Mini 3iX is already in brazil, and the Android is a MUCH more modded version than China's. Modded to the point of not having access to the Marketplace. Not even a trace of it ;-)
Also, I think Claro (one of our carriers) had it even before China... At least it came here a lot earlier than expected.
