Then we can compare which OS version is the best in our own tastes. If you don't like 2.1, you can return to 1.6. And if you don't like 1.6, you can switch to 2.1. SE is the best. They give us many choice of OS version. Don't you realise this?

ima huge fan of sony, got a psp, ps3, & a vaio BUT sony ericsson is what i have probs wth...they announce a phone a decade b4 they can actually release...so actually, SE seems like the follower there...Android 1.6 OS is clearly outdated now...people saying just get a pair of good hdset to fix audio quality that just proves how much SE is lagging behind...they took so long to release this phone & now all these minor defects...ya may be they'll claim to fix this issue with an update but then we all know how long it takes sony to get something done...as long as sony "ericsson" is concerned. i like sony but not a big fan of sony ericsson cause i'm not blinded by fanboism unlike a few here...i know ps3 is the best console out there that's why i own 1, but sony ericsson products are not necessarily the best phones out there so clearly it wouldn't be wise to get 1...

I read in some reviews that the landscape mode only worked for emails and browser but not for sms…well i’m using the default keyboard that comes with the x10 and it works in landscape for sms too O_o

Got the phone about an hour ago and have tried turning it on but it keeps restarting! It had battery when I first turned it on and I have also tried putting it on charge too but it continues to reboot itself. Also getting an “process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.” error which is becoming more and more frustrating!
I have never had any issues with any phones straight from unboxing. This is terrible. Any help will be more than greatly appreciated.

A new software update is out for X10. When I bought it the Build Number was R1FA014 and the new is R1FA016..

gsmarena..what about the AUDIO QUALITY?
you really should take other unit for review..and a released one too. majority of reviews are praising the audio quality.
so it cant' be bad, not to say this bad like in this review!

Felt the same way when I bought my satio.. Just switch ur phones to a good earphones like Skullcandy, senheisers and the likes..
