So while using the X10 in writing a sms message and after writing the message content, when adding the receipt name, is there a way to select several persons from the contacts by "marking them", coz i faced this disadvantage in my X1 !!!

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2010I've made several comments for this devise and its review and I think it's time to make my own... morethere was a delay coz they wanted it to be perfect, they wanted to give their customers unique features. ok even though there is no multi-touch but this thing is better than moto milestone in everything. Idont care about outdated OS coz soon they are going to provide update for the new OS

For those who wanna tryout how their own facebook looks like in timescape, go to SonyEricsson website, then sellect UK region, then select Xperia X10, then click the button "fconnect" to link to your facebook. Do make sure you already log in to your facebook before that.

Sony rep brought in the X10 pre launch model on wednesday. Super light! Great tough response. Didn't have a chance to play with the audio unfortunately. Camera was responsive and easy to use. Touch screen was familiar and again very responsive. Time scape was GREAT. A lot of fun and very simple to use for such a complicated job. The matted back showed virtually no finger prints. Also. As far as I can tell The phone is now coming with a 16 gb card not just an 8 gb. Pretty exciting. Was fun and easy to use. Just need to play with the media scape some more at the pre launch I'll be attending.

Copy Apple's minimalist packaging? LoL! Siemens C35 is one example in the late 90s having that WAAYYY before even Apple have a phone (Or even herald the start of their OSX series). It's more like Apple copying instead. No one copies from Apple, rather everyone copies somewhere from someone (even Apple copies).

"Sony Ericsson has released a virtual simulator for the Xperia X10 Android smartphone that allows you to try almost every feature of the phone. You can flick through menus and explore the Timescape/Mediascape apps. You can even see what the camera menu is like. For those considering buying the handset, then we suggest you have a quick try of the simulator yourself"

Didnt it occur to you to compare it with the Samsung 9000? a way better... but no, you compare it only with HTC and others... fairplay?...

Anyone else using this phone with AT&T in the US? I got the X10 the other day. I have been using it on AT&T's edge network, actually I have it now set to use the AT&T microcell network. Per the rep at AT&T retail store, the microcell network is something new to help boost the overall signal for example if your in a building. I have had no issues thus far. My X10 model is actually the X10I, currently being used in China. I read somewhere that the X10 coming to the US is called the X10A.
So far so good, I love it. I have previously used the Nokia E90, N97 and disappointingly the N900. This SE model is clearly the best touchsceen phone on the market. Maybe the so called iphone killer phone. I used the iphone, besides a ton of apps, I dont see whats so special about it? I guess Apples user friendly UI is the catch. I'm diggin the X10 though. Any feed back concerning the network from users in the US? Please share...

Please add in Mediascape review for FACE RECOGNITION!

SE X10 will automatically tag all pictures in your phone of the same person. And you can view all images with that person in it! Very nice feature if you have tons of pictures~

Why did this review just skip it?

I got my X10 today and it's awesome BUT the sound is pathetic. The sound on the Satio through the stock headset was much much better even before the equalizer arrived. SE, why make a media phone and then screw up such a pivotal area!? Now stuck with it for 2 years. Balls.
