I think X10 will rock Sony Ericsson in the markets in the coming months provided there are no stocks unavailability issues.

Also from the features X10 seems to be the most powerful phone of H1 2010. Cheers SE. Do well

GSM Arena.... you guys forgot to mention Sony Ericsson X10 Camera has Face-Recognition -- not face-detection for autofocus, but face-recognition for auto tagging.

Its curious that for a mobile phone oriented site like GSM Arena that's at the forefront of mobile phone news, it surprisingly miss out on the news of HTC EVO 4G (SUPERSONIC).

That being said, Sony XPERIA X10's competitor is not HTC Nexus 1 or HTC Desire, nor the HTC HD2. Its likely competitor is the super killer called HTC EVO 4G.

                http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/23/htc-evo-4g-is-sprints-android-powered-knight-in-superphone-armo/

The HTC EVO 4G is got a 480 x 800 4.3-inch TFT LCD, with a Snapdragon QSD8650 1GHz processor under the hood (the CDMA version of the QSD8250 in the HD2 and Nexus One), and even a helpful 1GB of built-in memory and 512MB of RAM -- hello app storage! Even the battery is bigger than the HD2, and the camera is an 8 megapixel monstrosity with flash, that's capable of 720p video (1280 x 720 video recording), and is augmented by a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling. The phone features HDMI out (though you'll need an adapter for turning it into a TV-familiar HDMI plug), 802.11b/g WiFi, and an 8GB microSD card. There's also the still rare Android OS v2.1 with an updated version of HTC's Sense UI. But... despite all these wild features, what actually sets the EVO 4G apart is the fact that it's Sprint's first 4G phone. The handset runs a combo of EV-DO Rev. A and WiMAX, with calls still being made over CDMA and the EV-DO / WiMAX options for data.

[deleted post]The amoled is good only if you are going to be using your phone in the dark all the time. For usage under normal conditions, the difference is almost imperceivable to the human eye, and under sunlight, the amoled fades away and you have a hard time viewing the screen.

and anyone bashing the phone will just just have to see number of pages and comments in user opinions and reviews which are proof itself for popularity and worthiness of device

                              Main disadvantages

                              * No DivX and XviD video playback --> Not important!
                              * No smart and voice dialing --> Somewhat important! (but theres the phone book so why need this - so not important!)
                              * No secondary video-call camera (or videocalling whatsoever) - Not important!
                              * No free GPS navigation solution --> Important!
                              * No Flash support for the web browser --> Important!
                              * No FM radio --> Somewhat Important!
                              * An extra xenon flash would’ve made the very good camera perfect --> Important
                              * Feeble loudspeaker --> what?? - meaning??
                              * Poor audio quality --> Important!

Basically - the only thing missing is Free GPS Navigation, Flash Support For Web Browser, Extra Xenon Flash and Better Audio Quality (with FM Radio!)

I'll give it a 90/100! --> two points for each thing missing for i would liked to have on this phone!

WoooW I really can't believe it, but the X10 is the new king of the mobile industry! SE has done it again, bravo bravo bravo ;)

Of course HTC HD along with desire and Nexus are very strong competitors and I can describe them as the ministers.

Iphone and moto are the soldiers, they are good but not good enough as the others.

Video calling is rarely used these days anyway. That's why no-one complains about front camera resolution.

I like the look of this phone. It's a shame that there is no Xenon, and they could have at least used a twin LED setup like the N86.
