excellent phone from Samsung i used to be a nokia freak but i changed my mind when i saw this phone i jus had to own it.. and im loving it...one thing though the battery barely lasts a day as compared to nokias which have more battery life when you are using it..please guys help me find how i can keep my battery going for longer than 19hours..otherwise everything else perfeto!!!

amazing device guyz...bt whts wrong vit its battery !!! talk time claim is abt 13 hrs !!! it doesnt last long for evn whole 5 hrs.(with vry modr8 use) !!! have tried apps killer...it has improoved a bit...bt still way behind then catchin their claim of 13 hrs...and why does it get so hot after browsing for abt 10-15 mints and while charging as well !!! any thoughts on that guyz???

I love samsung galaxy s very much............really awesome.........but battery life is really bad only 1 day not one day also from morning to till evening......again we have to charge it fully to night........if we use market or watching videos.....battery starts reducing.......

Which is better Desire or galaxy S ?
Galaxy S uses a lot of battery so it fast make a low battery.
Lagy and bugy OS
No costum roms and etc.

i have just got the new Galaxy S 19000----what is the battery life of this phone ---comment's please!--- as i seem to only get the max of 2hours 38 min's---thats swith the jucie defence on ---not good for me as a business person and neeed to use the phone all day---3 call's and batterie's are dead xx also slept in a few morning's due to alarm not going off due to andriod problem's ??????? Thank you i would love to hear your comments before returning to the shop

I'm on my samsung right now. It is way better than iphone and android 2.2 is said to have flash. It has HD video and 5 MP camera.this phone is competition not for iphone 3GS but for the next gen iphone. The only reason I'm on here right now is because my phone gets seriously hot when charging not just the back but also the screen I'm actually worried its going to set its self on fire its that hot. I turn my samsung off every nite when charging to keep it cool but apart from first time use the phone does not heat up under heavy use. I'm just slightly concerned about charging as you can see ha ha, but this phone is 100% AMAZING!

The are only a few minor bad points to consider. I'll try to be descriptive.
1. Very low red front facing vid camera. But is making 3G video calls important to you.
2. The phones loudspeaker is apparently poor quality & low in volume quoting gsmsrena. My guesse is you ask around or try it out in outdoor environment where loudness of volume matters & so does quality.
3. If your not a cam buff, then the flash is negligable, as it's not the selling point of this phone, but cam still & vid is thought to be lower quality than wave. Again, this aspect may have improved & ask around or try it out.
4. Unlike nokia. Maps cost & no free maps navigation & voice guidance. The feature is very limited but you still get gps basic funtionality.
Phone has very few weak areas Things like gps will improve, full flash will get eventually in froyo 2.2
If none of the bad points affects you as a general user or are not important to you. Then you'll love this phone.

Need info from all those techno guys around.. I have seen that galaxys doesnt have a 3G support, which is of great concern to me before buying one. Can you clarify the concern???
Secondly a genuine advice sought, Should I buy samsung Wave or Galaxy S????
