Its called a smartphone because it's smart but a smart phone with out a flash is not a smartphone! So call it what ever you want to call it but it doesn't deserve this title. How could samsung build such a great device but with no flash! Truly a big shame.

It does not matter if the design of the phone resembles another phone, but the important thing is specifications and features of the phone.

so sad... it doesn't matter if phone manufactures are copying each other, after all we want best possible phone. We shouldn't put some good feature in phone if IPHONE is using it eh?? -.- Best phone will win!! its all that matters!

Camera was always on the corner for samsung touch phones. Also samsung makes many different designs for touch phones. It does not matter much if one of them is similar to iphone. Just have a look at the designs of F480, Omnia HD, Beam and Corby.

What's wrong with iPhone fanboys. Whenever there's a touchphone, you always say iPhone copycat. Newsflash, there's a lot of touchphone in the market now, so stop acting as if iPhone is the only touchscreen phone.
How can Samsung I9000 Galazy S is even closer to iPhone copy? The design of the phone? Maybe. Does it even have iPhone OS? No! Does it completely have the spec like iPhone? Hell no!
Stop saying it's an iPhone copy then. It is completely different from iPhone, period. Remember the world doesn't revolve around Apple. They're just a company with a very good marketing strategies.
If Apple is the only mobile phone in the world like Windows, they will stop being innovative and start to become boring and stale. So iPhone/Apple fanboys, you guys better appreciate the existence of competition. Because without competition, Apple will not be in their current state now. So shut up!

My ancient Omnia got 3 major firm update and now I have no problem with the software.
i900DZHJ1_updater_vista, i900DZHK3_updater_vista and i900DZIA5_updater_vista.
I am tired hearing that Samsung does not provide any support. Maybe you should call them directly or ask friend that know how to update your phone.
I don’t know, are other phone brands giving 2 major update every 3 months? So you can consider getting support from them?
