Bought it 20 June 2010

Decent internal memory & great build quality. Simply irresistible....
Yesterday I got this mobile from UAE and its fantastic, the keypad is awesome.
Till now, I didn't experience any hang or issues.
The Display and features are pretty decent for that price range.
If you are a hard core messaging person, you will indulge by using this phone, like I do.
Headphones bundled is an average one, So I used my sony walkman in-earphone, Really the music quality is also great.
Mobile is very light and compact. Well designed for day to day use.
If you are a nokia fan and who hate touch, This phone will be a good pick.
it's really slow and rusty (as usual from nokia)
nokia distracting people
Great review! The phone looks very promising.
Can someone PLEASE help me with this? - I quickly need to buy a phone that takes decent pictures & videos of reasonable quality & plays music well and is within $180. I narrowed my choices to NOKIA C5 and SONY ERICCSON K800i. Which one do you think is the better? Personally I'm a fan of Nokia cause I've been using its handsets since my teenage and its the only brand I've used. But I'm willing to change if Sony Ericsson offers far superior picture quality with that cybershot and Xenon flash. I'd really appreciate any input or suggestions. Thank You!

@ Decent : afaik, capturing can only use portrait mode (full screen)
@ C5 Newbie User : you may go open the Image Gallery, choose the pic you wanna be zoomed in/out by clicking the volume control on the right side of the phone
@ no matter : i found no problems as you with this nokia C5
@ uEB1 : i've tried last night with it's push email capabilities, Facebook, messengers integration. to me it's quite useful even not as good as my Gemini. I found a tad slower than my Gemini in terms of real-time updates for email, facebook & messengers. but it's OK for me
@ moe : I understand that you had your own opinion about the screen. to be frankly, I often get dizzy with it's display as I should stare at the display in straight. move a single degree, than it turns out to be darker or brighter, depends on how you change the angle without purpose. and it's sunlight legibility is worse than my SE C510.
@ YgFe : well, it's kinda smartphone, you better deal with it....
in sum :
love the build quality, battery-life, speedy & intuitive UI, tactile keypad, usb-charging, 3.5 mm jack, 2ndary camera & hspa
no Wi-Fi & only 2.2 inch display is OK for me
hope it helped......
Is camera can beused in both Landscape & portrait mode to capture the pics ?
Hi, I bought it last week and it is not the phone that i desired for. Firstly i brought it from a reputed dealer, and never dreamt that it would be a big problem later. Please dont blame me if you think i did anything wrong, but it was a defective phone, the dealer says its not his fault. He took it back and now he will send it to nokia care to check. Waiting for his response. but my suggestion to all c5 prospective buyers - stay away - this phone was not at all that great
This could well be the next 6300!!!
I think it will sell well.
Hi, I just want to ask how do I zoom in when I'm viewing some photos? I can't seem to find the option on how to zoom in (up to %400) The review didn't show/mention the step-by-step guide. Please, can someone help? Thanks in advance!

Anonymous, 15 May 2010Doubt you own one. Try harder.Well i'm sorry for you, if C5 still isn't available in your planet at this point. Anyway. C5 isn't the one to swap. i'd suggest to save some more money for something with more quality.
