dis 1 has a WALKMAN 4.0 VERSION..!!!!its da latest & better den nokia x3 in terms of sound, camera, looks and display...!!!! GO FO IT..
if you wanna good sound quality, BUY SE. If you wanna suck audio quality, go to Nokia
Abhinaba, 03 Aug 2010I had SE W200i from 2006 and did not get any problem with this handset;if you tells about it's... morei'm agree with you.. my w980 fastport still ok, and the sound is superb.. my friend ( 5610 user ) try to hear the sound and he surpised with the sound quality.. he saind that tho sound is very cool... better than 5610.
when i use w810, my other friend (3250 and 5300 user) try my w810, he said that the sound is much better than his phone...
walkman is number 1.. just compare between w980, w705, w902, w810, VS 5220, 5800, x6, x3, etc...
jus TRY it! LISTEN the sound alternately! compare it.. walkman is the winner.. i swear
dude, 03 Aug 2010Those Philips earphones are thrash. Try on a Creative Ep-630 or an EP-8xx with the 5130. Bette... moreThat only means that se cares about our ears not nokia. I don't want to be partially deaf if u want than go for nokia
nomorese, 03 Aug 2010Sorry if you have so strong feelings for a brand. SE markets their phones as "music-orien... moreWe r talking about the sound not the adapter.
If even with a proprietary adapter we get better sound quality than nokia's 3.5 mm than its not a matter to complain
Anonymous, 03 Aug 2010You're just wrong. Nokia and other brands have a decent test on the site and SE always worse. ... moreNo u r wrong.
Google about sound quality of se vs nokia and u r not gonna find a single article saying that nokia is better then se.
But in every article or review se has been said much better via nokia
abhi, 03 Aug 2010Wow... if nokia's sound quality is better than why in every test on every website nokia scores... moreYou're just wrong. Nokia and other brands have a decent test on the site and SE always worse. Their Walkmans have a worse review for years!
Try searching mobile-review, that site's test has many more than in the lab.
abhi, 03 Aug 2010Wow... if nokia's sound quality is better than why in every test on every website nokia scores... moreSorry if you have so strong feelings for a brand. SE markets their phones as "music-oriented" and yet it fails on this basic feature. If anyone suggests I should hook up my expensive Shure earphones (which SE does) over some cheap adapter to my music-player I will most likely laugh in his face and move on.
abhi, 03 Aug 2010Wow... if nokia's sound quality is better than why in every test on every website nokia scores... moreThose Philips earphones are thrash. Try on a Creative Ep-630 or an EP-8xx with the 5130. Better yet, hook it up with some Sony earphones. The 5130 has a very clean and balanced sound output. As for the Naite... yeuch. Those stock earbuds they come with are whack. After using these new Nokias, I've observed that SE-s have a low volume level. They aren't loud enough to drown out the noise in a bus or a subway.
nomorese, 01 Aug 2010Sorry but you seem to have fallen for the "walkman" hype. It's simply one of Sony's ... moreWow... if nokia's sound quality is better than why in every test on every website nokia scores the lowest and se scores the best ?
I have both se naite and nokia 5130 xpress music. Naite is not a music phone and even people complain about its sound quality being a se phone but it still gives nice sound quality as compared to nokia 5130 which is a music phone and even comes with a decent pair of philips headphones. So now I hope it may have cleared ur doubt about sound quality
nomorese, 31 Jul 2010How do you make a Walkman and leave out the standard 3.5mm jack, ask SE. This is the very rea... moreAnd than this is what u found in nokia-no multitasking ,bad sound quality, worse picture clarity, laggy user interface, bad camera quality. Right ,huh.....?

YEs,3.5 jack is a good option but not essential if you have a SE headset(if you buy chinese duplicate headset you can only struck your head with wall).
In the Sony ericsson user manual which i downloaded from the official website it says that Zylo has shake control but in the review it is opposite?????????
It looks very nice!A small and sexy music slider
I want to buy one for my sister.
Nice fone i hope sony ericsson vil be back wid dis,
Gsmarena mentioned dat dhr is no bundeled memory card, usb cable But good news for Indian Market cuz it comes wid 2g.b card & cable.
nice fone...pretty impresive display....and it cost only 8k....
Maybe someone who said no need for 3.5 mm. jack, has to ask Sony Walkman himself that why all of Sony Walkman come with 3.5 mm. jack?
Think about it, SE + Walkman is just for show, it not likes Sony + Walkman power. SE is a low grade product for its Sony fanboys.
Anonymous, 31 Jul 2010My w200's fastport still OK even i've been using it for 2 years!
One thing to leave nokia is... moreI owned a W200i some years back and its FastPort conked. The charger kept disconnecting, there was audio leakage in one channel... and so on. As for music quality- you seem to be using those standard supplied headphones. Sure- they sound better than Nokia's Chinese crapster earbuds- but plug in a reasonably good 3rd party headphone- even an entry level one like the Creative EP-630 in a Nokia with a standard 3.5mm jack and it will kick the best of SE's Walkman's arses. You've been hearing music wrong, mate.
The W200i has an enjoyable music experience in the lower volumes, but crank it up and the basses go all over the place- EVEN with a nice 3rd party headset. SE's Walkmen are enjoyable per se- the extremely boosted basses- for instance- but they aren't exactly audiophile grade material. But most of the Nokias provide a somewhat good substitute for an audiophile. Think about it. Do some research. Then post your opinions, ok?
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2010you know you could always use bluetooth headset(best is SE MW600 for phones),no need for adaptorBluetooth headset has to eat your phone's battery more than a normal wire. Beside, it has many limitations like it can't use without it own battery and the sound quality can't be as good as a normal wire.
That why bluetooth headset $uck and it never be a high-end headset.
Adaptor? NO! If there is a fast port on my phone, I still need to do a stupid thing with how to use a fast port book.
