agreed that samsung copied the UI from apple.. but ever wondered that why apple is not suing them(apple has tried to sue google and HTC mind you)? its because u wont want to upset ur favorite supplier :) samsung have just removed the iHassels :P from the iPhone :) and we have a winner in Galaxy S :)
one which just lets you use your phone the way you want it, and not the way jobs wants you to :)
so trusting an idiot, overlooking your benefit and over paying for a 1ghz processor and 512mb ram just to run ONE app at a time(and believeing it to be multitasking because a moron says so) doesnt seem very prudent, does it?
if i would buy a phone for my 60 year old uncle who just knows how to operate some computer and needs a phone which just makes stuff simple(though not efficeient) then i would buy the iPhone
and to someone who actually has more than half a brain and is more tech savy, iPhone would be the dumbest choice! so stop uttering bull shit that galaxy S is a cheap piece of plastic
when it is lighter, has a better display, does ACTUAL multitasking, plays videos on the fly without bothering with the iFormats :D( and did i hear about being able to make PHONECALLS WITHOUT RUBBER BUMPERS too somewhere) :D

iSasa, 04 Sep 2010Yes, a lot of you against the iPhone, but none say why samsung so strongly resembles the desig... moreif u see closely to other company's products every company is trying to copy apple....galaxy S is nothing but like iphone look alike...it completely looks like iphone..like the metal rim around it,the design....etc etc but made with plastic nd seriously it does look cheap.....samsung have gone for quality materials since they r asking this price for this plactic....nd then the ipad...when it was previewed...people were saying its useless,another apple crap blah blah blah..nd now when samsung,toshiba nd even viewsonic r making ipad look-alikes..then those r good to dem then ipad....i mean wtf

the only reason why people are saying galaxy s is better than iphone. because they ca not afford iphone4, thats the main reason. why dont you guys buys iphone 2g it's much better than galaxy s, it have the logo of apple by the way.

I own both phones (iPhone 3GS and Galaxy). I must say the User Interface is superior in iPhone. Let me wait for Froyo update for my Galaxy. The responsiveness is still poor in Galaxy. Smooth interface is still a big problem for other phone makers.
I just don’t care about Cameras, Video capabilities et al functionalities which are any ways of not great use for me.
For content viewing, still iPhone beats Android in my opinion and the amount of time the Samsung phone crashing is simply unacceptable. It is refusing to connect to Kies most of the times.
But some of the cool features, open standards, unlocked (iPhone is struggling here), expandable memory, great display makes this phone Galaxy a great competitor for iPhone.

It seems adobe isn't the only enemy of apple now Facebook is! Steve Jobs is attacking facebook now,poor ifan drones your king could be about to alienate ye from another top company,no doubt he couldnt have complete control over them so is deciding their a old dated system like flash

I stopped reading on the first page.
In galaxy over iPhone you say...
"Android 2.1 Éclair, 2.2 Froyo update just around the corner"
In iPhone over Galaxy you say...
"iOS 4"
So you're essentially contradicting yourself, and then you continue to do so as the lists go on.
Sorry, but this makes for a poor and pointless review.

Wat how come I got drop calls when holding it in the my left hand? Hmmmm GPS can be fixed....FYI Samsung uses same chipset as the iPad 3g and IP4, its just software. Either way its been fixed for me. Call dropping can't be fixed and apple is too bs to admit it... a big negative.....
Weight lemme get a cover to cover my IP4... PFFFT SAD.....

the restrictions on iphone seriously undermine the capability of the hardware beneath the hood. and people are paying for 1ghz processor and 512 mb ram just to flick on the touch screen and do 1 task at a time :)
iphone4 is for people who dont have enough cerebral prowess to look beyond a stupid logo :) and has nothing substantial to offer apart from the Retina display.. which imo is NOT better than super AMOLED.
Galaxy S pawns it... and with aplomb!! your post absolutely nails it.. kudos :)
