I can almost admit that too that I liked iPhone photos more and that's why I'm not going for the galaxy s and waiting for samsung galaxy beam, cause it has better camera. I am really sad Galaxy S has such a lame camera if it weren't for the camera, I would have bought it... Strange why Samsung messes things up with putting in a camera that is in the iPhones camera level... I mean they have had phones with 12 mp camera with superb photo quality...

i agree with ur rational comment arturas..that's what ifanboy claim's their ip4 have more capabilities than galaxy s..i have doubt with that..
u just reveal one of the superior capabilities of iphone 4..

Does anyone know of a site which compares the screens in the sunlight as GSM Arena has failed to do so?
I use my phone a lot out doors and this omission is important.

Well I would say this is not a really good comparison, GSMArena seems to be going for the iPhone somehow, well yeah there were some points that really impressed me, like the fact, that you can read even very small letters with the retina display and the display technlogy is actually better than those of older phones, but come on, not by far can you compare it with a super amoled screen... The screen is much bigger and the colors are like 20 times better, so watching a movie is almost perfect, while iPhone can clearly not compete here. I think it's not even fair to compare iPhone to a super phone like Galaxy S, cause iPhone doesn't even have video call (if you're not stupid you do realize that it doesn't have it at all) or for example what's the use of iPhones RAM if you don't have multitasking...

Clearly a vested intrest here from GSM arena, a continuation of the article "Mobile phone evolution: Story of shapes and sizes" that was actually sponsored by Samsung. That article was blatent in its attempts to identify the Galaxy S as the ideal consumer handset at present, this comparison actually carries more bias than the previous article and the gesturing towards Samsung is evident. I am no iPhone 4 lover, far from it, but had it been any other handset shoot out my feelings would be the same. Reading the opinions on the diffrent sections such as the test indicate the iPhone edging out as superior, however the scoring out of 10 tells a diffrent tale. Quite disappointed as I always rated gsmarena as impartial.

GSMarena didn't say the audio of iphobe4 sound is less than samsung galaxy s.. even they say "iphone4 have an edge in audio guality"..
and some other statement "The iPhone 4 is also the handset with the cleanest audio output we have seen and one of the loudest, too"
in audio guality test also show there is no different between this 2 phone,except in headphone attached test.which is galaxy s has small fluctuation.
galaxy s score extra point b/cos its has stereo fm radio along..
u say iphone4 have more capabilities than samsung galaxy s..i disagree wit u man..
can u list what capabilities that iphone4 have better then galaxy s?
but i can list u wat galaxy s can do and iphone can't do

Haha, these iFans really can't take any criticisms against the iPhone 4. None at all, it's such a shame.
So they have to accuse GSMArena of being biased against the iPhone 4. Or say the Galaxy S was cheating. LOL, you guys never fail to amaze me.
GSMArena is being incredibly unbiased, but being Apple fanboys, you guys wouldn't notice if it was glaring you in the face

gsm arena is in challenge with apple specially these days just take a look to recent discussions and the way gsmarena face it.. i respect this site and i have been using it for more than 3 years but please... dont compare the phone this way with prejustice specially apple products i admit nothing is perfect but please take a look to your review excuse me no one can believe that iphone sound and capabilities is less than samsung.. you cant compare the touch mecanism , build quality and tha way & prestige and design of iphone with samsung i dont wanna quarell with samsung and its products but these scores are NOT real because everyone can undrestand it by using them... the one who uses iphone definetley knows that especially when you try most of the phones around and find the iphone : DIFFERENT

And someone said its easy to transfer music in iPhone.. well in that case that guy has 48hrs of day... man o man... first transfer the music/video to itune and than transfer it to phone..now who said thtz simple.. and above all... all avi/divx files needs to be converted.. now does the conversion of an average 700mb file happends in 1min..!!!
Boy boy... at gsm or me... we didn't say iPhone is bad... we said there is nothing new... I have used 3G and 3Gs...but thtz it.. other companies like moto/samsung they have brough cheaper and open OS based phones..and these things are to be considered...
So iPhone lover.... keep holding to ur iTunes...ha.ha...lol....

i bought a samsung wave and to me it beats both since i dont care for apps much and its much cheaper yet you get everything thats avaiable in both the other phones :).

its should between motorola droid x and samsung galaxy s..

there is lots of smart-phone in the market much more better than this two how can it be apple Iphone 4 is better it has antenna issue + mr. job attitude towards loyal costumers. my point is there is lots of smart phones like HTC, Motorola that you can compare! this is unrespectable comparison to show iphone is better sorry i don't agree with GSM Arena!!!!!!!

I don't think I've seen a review on GSM Arena where the outdoor capabilities of the screens wasn't compared.
What happened is the reviewer a vampire, scared to go out in the sun or is it just the general bias shown in this review.

I'm somewhat surprised that you gave the camera points in favor of the Galaxy S given that to most users having a flash on it would be handy - not to mention the fact that you can have apps that make use of it.
Also, with the screens, don't forget that (S-)AMOLED screens consume less power than LCDs generally. This of course was hardly reflected in the case of the video playback length.
With either phone you can't make a wrong choice so much as a bad choice or poorer choice depending on a person's usage. Suffice to say, I think everyone can agree that the Android's open and limitless possibilities easily triumph iOS.
