This is the future in the making. Tablets will replace notebooks soon since the OS for tablets is capable enough and the price will be similar with the one for notebooks. Netbooks are already history. You can have document editing, internet browsing, gaming, tha same as with a PC/notebook/netbook. Anyway, thanks to higher internet speeds, heavy computing will move to cloud computing or specialized servers so there will not be a need for powerfull PC stations anymore.

Consider the P1000 a Galaxy S XL with the lack of the Super AMOLED.

What's d use of an ipad if u hv this? can any apple lovers answer? n i bet it would only cost 1/2 of the ipad if not lower. wouldn't it just be ridiculous 4 any1 who would evn think of buying an ipad when this thing is around??.. LOL

Just some corrections for your article:
The iPad will not be getting "Proper multitasking", as you suggest with 4.2. It will still be getting only the 7 specific background services apps can tap into. This is a far cry from what Android can do.
and the iPad is not running 3.1.3, it's running 3.2.
Also, you list both iOS and Android operating systems underneath the "What xxx has over the xxx" section. Bit silly if each OS is better than the other, might as well leave it out of the Pros list.

Its a little more than an oversized sgs. its a tablet,with phone functionality. Its a very nice device indeed. And i have to say is much nicer than the ipad which imo is too big.
