Pixon12 have little more detail , but noisy.
N8 - little noise , good detail. But blurry optics. It's really Carl Zeiss? :(
Sony HX5 - tne best quality sensor , bu terrible optic.

Wolf23, 06 Oct 2010C- best B- normal C- worstAgree. But at the end, even if C is the N8 is not worth the money. A 5 Mpix camera is OK for most "unexpected" events. Otherwise with 100 euro you can buy a nice portable full HD camcoder, or even a good second hand DSRL.

B and C are better. B has the best luminosity while C is sharpest.

From d days of the n73 & n95 itself , nokia mastered short-range clos-up's ....
only thing i miss after switchin to 5800 from an n95 is its superb camera and pure white display (unlike noisy white display in 5800)
