GSMArena should also do a portion where the pictures are upscaled to 12 megapixels. That would be fair, because the process of donwscaling or upscaling always affects picture quality.
C is the best at resolved details but picture a bit darker than it should be
A is the worst when comes to sharpness but did good job in color
Gsmarena, why oh why don't you just take a 12mp camera, instead of 10mp, and take photos in full resolution. Or even better, why not three 12mp cameraphones.
C is the best - it's capturing pictures. A and B are just producing ugly digital "impressions" on reality.
Maybe you can get some hints over this matter there:
PIXON12 VS CASIO EXILIM EX-S600 VS CANON POWERSHOT A590IS
Let the photos do the talking and you to judge.
C is clearly the best. Sharpness is good, colors look natural. A has oversharpened touching, and B is really weak with color chart tests.
1. C (if not A)
2. A (almost as good as C)
3. B (worst of the three.. by a big margin)
I think photo C is of Sony HX5v, A is of Nokia N8 and C is of Samsung Pixon12
I think C is the best then A came in second and B came in last
The following are my the rankings to the above photos
C has 4x First and 4x Second
A has 3x First and 2x Second and 3x Third
B has 1x First and 2x Second and 5x Third
A, B, C all are good.. but on a comparative analysis:
1st: C (by a small small small margin)
3rd: B (not as good as A or C.. fails big time in this photo http://www.gsmarena.com/showpic.php3?sImg=reviewsimg/nokia-n8-blind-test/gsmarena_028.jpg)
