why none of the samples are in low light conditions. Most of the smartphones are good daylight shooters, but are pathetic as soon as you try to take pictures indoor under low light conditions. I myself have an n97 mini, which is excellent outdoors, but frustrates whenever i try to take pictures in a party indoors.

Specwise N8 already had better optics and bigger sensor. What the test was about was did they work as they should have.
If you read the comments, nobody was complaining about the test before the results. Then suddenly when N8 won, the trolls come out of the woodwork.

The only reason gsmarena made such a test is to praise nokia. I also agree with you that this test is nothing than bias. Because it doesn't test everything. It just test things that gsmarena wants to convince the readers with.
I guess after all gsmarena are no better than eldar or engadget.

They did a high-ISO test, which allowed the Sony to look like the inferior camera in the resolution shot. Why? Because it uses much heavier noise reduction than most cameras in the P&S market today so if you do a 100% zoom on a freaking shot meant to test resolution and detail, of course the other cameras are going to look better because the Sony loses more detail which is fine for 4x6 prints but not pixel scrutinizers. As I said, I LIKE THE N8. But this test is still worthless. Yes, it was a blind test, but it was also one designed to be disadvantageous against the Sony.

Until YOU sit in it and take it for a test drive you;re in NO POSTION to make judgement calls. GSM arena is saying lag-free to the extent they've used it. you havent even done that and you're making shots.

Clearly the 'A' images are of Sony HX5V, since if we see the pictures of charts, there you can see that the B and C are bright in the middle where as little darker from the edges which is not in case of the case of samples of 'A', i.e. photos taken by Camera Sony HX5V. Which clearly proves that Sony HX5V is winner, Then Samsung Pixon and Then Nokia N8.
And yes, Sony Satio should've been taken for comparison since comparison is between phones and not Cameras

No contest with the CAMERA, but Nokia N8 is also way better PHONE than that iapple. You can even make a call with N8, without having to slide the phone into a condom :) An how about FREE MAPS and FREE NAVIGATION, the list is endless.
This all means that that apple rots soon.

Eh man I'm not exactly a nokia fan, but common if ever there was ever a comparison that was won fair and square it's this one, cause it was blind not prejudiced or anything.
The comments spoke for themselves can't nobody change that fact.
All you bashers will just have to live with it , and yes other Os's might be better (am actually an android user myself) but in terms of hardware the comments have SPOKEN.
