with the n8 you will be sure to get the latest updates from nokia, with the samsung bada and galaxy you get a great phone with zilch(zero) support.
So what is more important for you? A great phone with good support after you buy it. Or a phone that you know after buying it that the company will cut you of and never give you any updates or support.
Just look at how samsung closed all the support forums for symbian users? Can you even trust such a company. Do you remember the samsung behold that samsung promised to upgrade from android 1.6 to 2.1 and after a while they announced that there will be no upgrade for ever to 2.1 ??1
Didn't samsung promise android users to get 2.2 froyo for android for the galaxy s but now it's october and still nothing! Don't you get it? Nokia is miles ahead of samsung when it comes to support and that's the reason they are number one.
I can't believe people still buy samsung, it just shows how many people in the world still don't think right.

n8 has one of the worst review eva for this yr smrtph. I can't believe ww reviewers love ios and android and hate symbian. Every review I read, it says S^3 is laggy

You know why people are saying bad things about the N8? Because Nokia fans are bashing other phones and saying the N8 is the greatest.
Let us be honest now: What does the N8 have that no other phone can claim? The best camera on the market? Okay if we give you that then it ends there.
So Nokia has been reduced to a company whose flagship, fancy phone lagged:
Motorola in HDMI in a phone.
Apple in Gorilla Glass.
Motorola in high resolution. Then Apple as king.
Samsung in AMOLED. Samsung in Super AMOLED.
The phone has nothing revolutionary with an OS that lags everyone and will be even worse than Windows Phone 7. In the land of fancy smartphones with tons of features the N8 is a latecomer smartphone with a nice camera. If Nokia was not so proud they would jump on Android.
That is what makes the N8 irrelevant.

I was considering a Samsung Wave, Galaxy at one point, then a HTC Desire HD, then a Nokia N8. But investigating samsung forums & other forums or blogs tells me to be very cautious of Samsung. Not many apps with BADA APP Store! Their lack in loyalty to customers for slow product Software support & fixes should be way sooner than is taking, poor BADA APP Store! No free GPS, & slow GPS hardware built in.
For the most part most of the hardware seems upto a standard. But it's not enough. Services servives services hmmm erm Hard/Soft limitations!
Based on what I've seen with S^3. I'm still not sure whether I'd still like a piece of the Symbian Pie or would like to move on for a CHANGE - that's all - a CHANGE! I mean - there are just so many nice widgets, apps, games going for Android. Again I know the screen is ideal resolution & nothing larger should be needed for a 3.5" touch screen Mobile Phone Computer. But again HArd/Soft limitations!
On the other hand the Android OS itself is very customizable still in respect to GUI, great interface, simple, wuick, intuitive, the controls are fast, easy , quick. Place, drag or drop Icons on desktop anyway or any homescreen, live wallpapers. Android just seem to keep appealing to me more & more over some nice touch controls, abilities, etc etc for the Home User interface let alone the rest of the OS. Theirs a lot of support for it, loads of Apps, lots of dev support
So I'm left not sure. HTC would really hit the nail on the hammer if they produce a high end phone with large battery, & large internal memory, slower GPS, but now a nice Magnetometer compass guided pre installed maps system. They may not relie on GPS much anymore but to the network traffic & Tag cloud for information download & if enough memory on the phone is isc a current weakness will be a nice alternative to battery consuming GPS, cutting down on features a bit if they are not needed at all for battery consuming location based services.
Just about everything else they have is the flavour of the month... But Android coupled with HTC's Sense UI just seems very luring for some reason. Their seems to be some very innovative features from HTC as of late & very interesting converging technologies, some mentioned above & mostly very good phones.. But HTC & Samsung have a few scores to hit before they get me buying their phones. Again Hard/Soft limitations AGAIN!
I think there must be other people out there who are at a catch 22 pondering over which phone to really go for yet, Wait - NO can't make up my mind. There has been no phone which has truly captivated the minds of die hard techno geeks, computer nerds, nothihg has come along that has really amazed anyone so much apart from N8, Iphone 4 samsung galaxy, wave, HTC Desire HD, but they aren't my perfect phone all in on. They all have their issues obstructing my buying decision. AGAIN through lack of Hard/Soft limitations!
I'm thinking I want to try something different. But I want free GPS. HTC could cure this in a great high end phone with everything I'm loooking for & then their wouldn't be need for great GPS modem. I want some high class hardware in a high end phone. But you can see where the limitations are stopping people from picking a phone which has everything their little hearts desire. Memory is important now in Mobile Computers. Location based services need to be important & fast fast, on hand & very handy & freely available for Android Platform mobiles from HTC or Samsung. Also Apps need to be very wideley available.

Apple afraid of a shattering followup to its Antennagate woes
Apple weathered that Antennagate storm surprisingly well, but now there's another potential cloudburst on the horizon, and it's been pre-named for your convenience: "Glassgate." Or maybe "Glass-That-Shatters-If-Scratched-By-A-Casegate." Ryan Block has just posted a story on gdgt citing sources "inside and outside Apple" claiming that Apple has discovered a different flaw -- or weakness, shall we say -- in its iPhone 4 design. The basic problem seems to be with non-bumper cases, specifically ones that slide on to the phone, and the danger of trapped particles scratching the back of the phone while taking the case on and off. Case-caused scratches are nothing new (though still annoying), but the big problem seems to be that these scratches can lead to cracking and even full-on shattering of the back panel. Apparently this lead to Apple severely limiting its reselling efforts of third party cases for a time (which you might have noticed), and while Apple currently has some third party cases online and in its stores, none of the hard cases are of the slide-on variety. Apple also purportedly has a new test program set up to understand this specific issue.
Of course, plenty of questions are raised by all this: is this a widespread problem with folks that have managed to acquire a slide-on case? We haven't really heard of such a correlation so far. Do the snap-on folks, many of whom received their cases free of charge from Apple, have anything to worry about? And does Apple have any intention of warning its consumers about this potential danger? Apple didn't respond to Ryan's request for comment, and we doubt they'll respond to our own until they're good and ready to talk -- let's just hope there's not another faux hat-in-hand press conference in our future!

If I disregard the fact that Galaxy S feels like you hold a cheap plastic lego block in your hand, it has a beutiful functional UI. It is really great. But Wave... I've used it and now when I am reminded of Bada I start feeling dizzy and want to throw up. I don't care how many Hz it has or what is that screen name is - the smell of vomit doesn't dissipate.

if u feel thats all u need than grab it.
i believe bada have so much potential things to growth and become a gud OS for smartphone too. if u believe in that than grab wave.
i believe iphone have many entertaiment and useful things too,but for this i recomment just buy an itouch XD
android also great,and now it more mature and comes with more usability.
but still i trust my old winmo device as mini notes and network tools.
every phone have its own speciality,nothing perfect.

Apple and samsung are most stable in terms of OS which is most important since we use UI every now and then rather than taking pics all the time. I thought nokia got this idea of importance of UI but still no. Boosting megapixel is so 2006 or 2007. Android gets this idea and now it is biggest rival to apple. Check nokia wiki page and you will see its income and profit have been sliding since 2007, year of iphone launch
