The_Guy, 09 Oct 2010They're doing an apple. Pretty interface but really limited functions that are basic functions... moreObviously microsoft needs some time to catch up Ios. So are other Os. Still WM7 is a step up fr window mobile. S^3 is still same like interface on n95

They're doing an apple. Pretty interface but really limited functions that are basic functions of most smartphones today.

They're doing an apple. Only one problem. Its 2010, not 2007.

trapped.in.symbian, 09 Oct 2010aghhhhh, even symbian is just better than this MS crap... very dissapointing microsoftsymbian will nvr understand mobile OS concept. It should be roubust n light. Winmo6.5 and S^3 are very similar. More u put in more lag appears. If u want like usb host u will use laptop. Ios and android will still be king. Winmo is following wheras s^3 is sinking.

MS NEW WMo7 OS IS MORE FEATURED THAN FIRST APPEARS.
Apparently if you want to do Copy & Paste in Word with WMo7 then you just txt your request to the MS-angels in the cloud and they do it for you. How cool is that! Another new CLOUD feature from MS. Beats Apples. LoL.

No Bluetooth file transfers, no USB mass storage mode, no memory card support, no copy paste, no music player equalizer... features that my old school, non-smartphone sony ericsson Z770i & G502 have. WTF!!!

No multitasking!! I almost laugh out loud but then i realize it's not at all funny. Even the iphone4 which can barely make calls can multitask.

As a WM6.1 user i am agast at no copy paste and limited Office Word Excel apps. I was holding out for so much more. Now i've gotta go and get an Android fone to update. I gotta do it fast before Android realize they can stop their research and development work because Apple and Microsoft stopped the clock back 2 years ago and mass user expectation is apparently so low for what a SMART fone needs to do. GSMArena even lowers its expectations so low that they use 5 year old fone bencmarks to compare WM7 against. Hey everyone lets lift the game.
On Monday the 11th at the MS WM7 launch it might show that GSMArena have sold it short reviewing a crappy earlier beta-lite vers of WM7.

Why are there no iPhone fans bashing this? It's more ridiculous than the first iPhone and it should be expensive as well. Could this be... the iPhone killer? Actually, I'd rather buy an iPhone than this, and I never even liked the iPhone.

I love it. IT is not perfect, but it is something different.

The thing I love most about it is the hubs. I like that all the information is tied into the screen that you are in. So you are not launching sub menus or sub processes to do things.

I am buying the most affordable WP7 phone at the end of the year.

that's great to see microsoft offers less than apple did with iOS 2 lol :D

where is bluetooth technology and the all other smartphone features that people blame apple not supporting till iOS 4 ?

WOW! Way to blow it Microsoft...I was confused at what phone to buy in the coming holidays u just made my choice a lot easier. How could u not have something so simple as bluetooth transfer? What were u guys really thinking, no multitasking? and u guys having one of the best office out there, didnt include copy n past .So you didnt think ppl would hav wanted that main function from the begining? How sad. Until u step up Il be riding Symbian and Android.Apple may have gotten away with these things but I dont think there'll be a 2nd time around 4 another company.

It's soooo stxpid!! All these drawbacks worked for Apple three years ago when they introduced the iphone with it's capacitive touchscreen and snazzy UI!! Hey, MS! It's 2010!!! Lol! You are 3 years too late Microsoft!! Maybe WP8 will have time-travel capabilities so that you can go back and try to introduce this piece of sh!t OS!!

What compels these guys to put in such limitations? Just what are they trying to prove? They put up such high hardware requirements, and can't even provide full multitasking? The biggest reason I buy a smartphone is because of the multitasking, and if that isn't there, it's just silly.

Gotta face it, Symbian and Anroid are the best.
