I'm confused. is this a feature phone operating system or a smart phone operating system? are the advantages of the apple's closed interface model worth emulating? they have deleted so many easy interface options that getting content into and out of the device will be problematic. how is it better than apple or google's mobile operating system? why would I want WP7 OS?

I havent even read the review.
So no matter what it can/cant do.
The eye candy is crap. Windows 3.11 looked better.
No shadows, no glass effects, flat keyboards, sliders.
Microsoft, microsoft, what have you done??? simple isnt always better.

hi i dont know much about andriod but how much i know about ios is that it sucks also and most of the disadvantages of win mob 7 are present in ios also
but all the disadvantages of it are symbians advantages
im a symbian user since my first smartphone nokia 6600
it was probably 2003 and it had multi tasking and most of all BLUETOOTH FILE TRANSFER which now in the latest ios and win mob 7 dosent have
im now using nokia n78 and is i think one of the best affordable smartphone by nokia
has multitasking,bluetooth file transfer,flash support for most of web pages and everything else and is very easy to use also
i am not saying that microsoft isnt doing good overall as the best computer os is win 7(im using ultimate) but in mobile i think symbian is the best
therefore my next phone will surely be the n8 or e7
and also maemo is goood
if nokia makes meego phone(AKA n9)
i will buy that phone then

I think the market in 2 years will be like this (Symbian/MeeGo vs android vs iOS)
WP7 is a crap and far from being a competitor with all that disadvantages and its ugly ui.

In short: a total poop. It's unbelievable how reality-detached Microsoft has become. Fail after fail since Xbox360. Why do they even bother anymore? Stick to selling Windows and Office, you can't do anything else. Oh, and get rid of Ballmer.

Pretty much all the disadvantageses will be solved with updates. Why don´t gsmarena say a single thing that wp7 falls short of against android and iOS? just says it does in some places, never what???

Good lord! What have they done? This looks just an utter garbage. The UI is simply too ugly. Gosh I've a headache now just to understand what's going on in each screenshot.

So if this is the case, no thanks I think I'll pass and stick with android ;)
while android keeps jumping, Microsoft are still crawling! Sorry but your still not good enough in the mobile world.
And although I love windows 7, I have learned that your os just lag lag and lag!! So if you hate the lag like I do, your better of with macs or with google chrome pc's in the future.
