Just wanted to point out something.

There IS SD card support, it is just that you can't remove one card and put a new one in. It uses something similar to RAID 0, so you will have to wipe if installing a larger card.

If it uses the Zune software, then it will support the same codecs, aka divx/xvid.

Flash support has already been announced and you can bet that silverlight will be there as well.

I do hope that some phones come with a camera for future support. While I personally will never need it, there are some people who do.

The cloud serivces integration also isn't fully working, Zune and Xbox live are not available in some countries.

          memory card the is support

Some Windows Phones have a Secure Digital (SD) card that’s used to expand the amount of storage space on the phone. If your phone has one, it’s in an SD card slot underneath the battery cover on the back of your phone.

Windows Phone uses a special high–performance SD card that works differently than SD cards in other devices. When your phone is built and first set up, its internal storage and SD card are combined and recognized as one storage system.
          Warning

You should not remove the SD card in your phone or replace it with a new one because your Windows Phone won’t work properly. Existing data on the phone may be lost, and that SD card can’t be used in other devices or Windows Phones.

Well this is a fail. People used WM for it's high end functionality that almost served as a mobile PC. Now it's just another java platform. No general file manager even. So you pay through the roof for a phone with the functionality of the a java platform.

I really don't understand how gsmarena rates the phone OS's solely on the interface, even though there are far more important things than that. Take Symbian, no OS exceeds its capabilities ( If someone thinks so, mention one thing that iPhone or android can do which symbian cannot ) yet they still do not like it just because there's no transparency and graphics. Shame

I used to be a big wm fan! I loved it because it was customizable. Now I will never recommend wp7 for anyone! They are just copying the iphone, but they are making it worse lol.

Microsoft you are just embarrassing your selves more and more. I was looking forward for wp7, but I am so disappointed. No multi tasking - no copy/paste - no external memory, boribg ui that will not be customized. Very expensive apps from the market, the same way wm was, WTF were they thinking !

                  Microsoft = epic fail

Most probably microsoft wanted to make a phone with a simple UI but at last they made something like shit. I mean really i don't understand what kinda UI this is. Simply boring. Even the stone age symbian's UI is even far better than this one. Although windows phone 7 has a very end features. But to me if a phone's UI doesn't look at least good then it loses of its 40% appeal to me.

Wait a minute, this is iOS 4 with a different name - Windows Phone 7. It is exactly Apple's iPhone OS, but called something else. :)))

I used to truly respect microsoft but now I know for sure that they are only followers, never leaders :

                                        ps3( leader )

                                        xboc ( follower)

                                        iphone ( leader)

                                        wp7 ( follower)

You keep copying others because you saw them succeed, what a shame? I respect nokia 1000 time more than I respect you microsoft, even though I hate symbian.
