Lost faith in Samsung coz they messed up Samsung Galaxy S and it were never optimized out of the box. Experience lag although it have superb processor and intergrated GPU, s-amoled display but the OS really not good coz it wasn't fully optimized. I flash to another firmware and flash after flash, still the same.
Froyo have been delayed and I'm quite disappointed. Froyo might improve the lagness and hope that could get my faith on Samsung back
Btw, WP7 sucks.
I would advise Samsung(before it is too late) be smart and don't waste the beautiful S-AMOLED screens for such a downgrade piece of junk!
For users who will buy this functionally Super-Limited "phone" S-AMOLED is NOT needed, they won't see a difference between cheap Coffin and a newest Rolls Royce car!
sh1sh1, 12 Oct 2010The level of Microsoft WP7 hate in this website is off the charts! It's palpable in the review... moreSo in your opinion a review that puts the disadvantages into the limelight has 'palpable hate'? There's one thing GSMArena never did and that's biased reviews. They've tried to stay as objective as they could on each and every phone that I've seen them cover. They don't want to trick people into believing a device is more than it actually is. Face it, WP7 has a LOT of disadvantages compared to current OS's. They said all the good that could be said about it, but they also said what wasn't. Maybe it's time for WP7 fans to stop being so touchy and face the truth. Don't be in denial.
The level of Microsoft WP7 hate in this website is off the charts! It's palpable in the review (albeit the semi-professional tone), but the comments... oh my. I also lost count of how many "iOS/Android sux" I read. I usually post on Engadget, where it's the complete opposite: unconditional iOS/ Andoird love and scoff at anything Symbian/WinMo. Oh well, too bad the whole tech blogsphere is overtaken by "power users" of adolescent mentality - "OMFG no mass USB storage fail M$ etc".
Gunjandeep, 12 Oct 2010@Johan: iOS does not do Multitasking. There is a definition of Multitasking available, you ... moreThe ios does multitasking. And it is better implemented. It knows which apps should run at the same time, and which ones can be suspended, resulting in a more efficient and less compromising performance.
iOS does not do Multitasking. There is a definition of Multitasking available, you can google it. Although I'll put it in a small way here. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Handling here means: Starting, Running & killing multiple applications. Importantly if you notice: RUNNING. WP7 just hibernates one & operates other.
No doubt a Super AMOLED display makes everything look good. But we must admit, the hardware is superb, the software is good, but wont blow any one's mind off.
For all people who appreciate freedom. I'd say wait for Gingerbread (Android 3.0)

People keep complaining about the lack of features in WP7, sometimes you won'... moreWell said, I have a Samsung Wave and I am actually considering possibly getting rid of it to get this. I dont know though as I LOVE my Wave.
Things like Copy and Paste, I could care less about because I dont need it. The only thing that bugs me is the memory card support, but if its easy to sync all my files in the phone it should not be a problem

People keep complaining about the lack of features in WP7, sometimes you won't even realise that you won't use them; the same thing with how iOS purposely leaving out features last time => People go 'hey, apple rocks, they responded to us!'
iOS is great, Android is great, and I see WP7 becoming a strong competitor too. The only thing Microsoft has to deal with is the bunch of people who give a biased judgment based on the few words on the few reviews.
I like it - I like the fact that they have been strict with the manufactures hardware requirements. It helps protect the user experience, there are far too many crap droids out there. Poor resolutions, weak processors, low memory all made to just sell sell and sell. And let the customer deal with the perfomance issues afterward, as long as the BUY! I actually use an android phone and its RIDDLED with bugs, the whole open source thing sounds lovely, but for ordinary users it doesn't work coz it will act up and need maintenance. I got better things to do than tinker with my fone software all day. I may wanna sync my life with my handheld, but that doesn't make me a geek. Thats why iPhone is so popular, hig end, high standard and super stable, for NON GEEKS. Microsoft have focussed on making a flawless user experience, and the bits that are flawless like bluetooth file transfer have been left out for now. But I like WP7 the more I see it.
KreanInW, 12 Oct 2010It's even worst compare to WM6.5! Don't you think so? No, because WinMo 6.5 was not stable. Looks like Microsoft was shooting for a stable phone at all costs.
[deleted post]IMHO, they were pretty fair in their review. They covered all the major flaws, and even said that there are better phones out there. In the end it all comes down to personal choice.
Anonymous, 11 Oct 2010Snapdragon? You mean hummingbird?Because Microsoft does not allow Samsung to use its own processor.
Oh yea... Bada is developed by Samsung and it is even better than this so called limited OS which developed by a Giant OS company. What a shame.... At least new born Bada can do copy and paste.. .a simply job this WP7 cannot do.
I can give forgiveness to WP7 with no memory card support, ok fine... but then no bluetooth transfer... oh shit.. ok i can tolerance it also... the worse.. is no USB mass storage mode... LOL... and even worst, no custom ringtones... every important feature is like no no no... then all we can say is NO to WP7 !
WP7 is the worst OS compare to IOS 4, Bada, Symbian, Android... Hardware wise is great but got wasted by this OS.
I've always been a Samsung fan, but this one sucks. The hardware is excellent, but the W7-OS has restricted the phone's hardware capabilities because of the absence of the basic smartphone features. Horribly unfortunate indeed!
Sony innovates and microsoft copies (XBOX)
Apple innovates and microsoft copies (wp7)
Microsoft will never be leaders, they are followers nothing more. I don't respect you any more microsoft, your not the leaders and big guys you used to be in the old days. Wake up! And fire the old people you have and exchange them with new blood for god sakes.
No multitasking...no copy/paste...wtf???My N95 have those futures since 2008 ????wtf???Ill never buy WN7 phone..Ill buy N7
