can i use the OVI chat / Instant messenger in background on x2 ? i want to purchase a phone which lets me remain signed into chat all the time and i can minimizze the app and use phn as well ... is nokia x2 capable of that ?

signal quality-excellent
very light too Cary
display is fantastic n screen resolution is also good
size of the screen is also good in a bar phone
sound quality is superb because of dual stereo speakers
3.5 mm jack & dedicated music keys r very useful
internal memory is good & it gives free 2 GB memory card
internet browsing is good but not the best
Bluetooth connectivity is very good
camera is very good & it gives a good clarity n quality
(try too take pics by without flash it will give excellent result)
video recording is disappointing
radio works good without the lead
a very good collection of games
& the battery is amazing (27h music play)
a very good thing in the box is the headphone speakers
overall verdict -a really nice piece created by Nokia with such low budget

i've found that if i click a lot of photos in quick succession with the X2, the phone simply hangs. also for about 2-3 minutes after a photo is clicked it still says "photo being processed." 3 minutes to process a photo? by then the phone has hanged and i've to restart it, so the photos are all lost because they are not yet saved. is this a X2 problem or have i just got a faulty piece?

Let's put it in dis way, i used to be a die hard nokia fan.. my sets ( N72, N95 8gb, N79, 5220, 3110c, 5130, N96) but all is past now. belive it or not now the future is in samsung's bada OS, Androids and Windows phone 7.. nokia is only good in making small mid range handsets only.
nokia's biggest known sets C7, N8, E7 like are no match with the HTC Desire hd or galaxy s or s8500 wave or X10 or iphone 4 etc.

this is the 1rst time that i did buy a nokia phone..what a croppy sound,,! a thin sound !i bought it last week,
now im remorsing,,camera was not even that convincing for 5mp..
if only my old w810 didnt lost,,im surely be using that til now.. now i can say that..it has the greatest audio experience ,,especially when you activate its megabass,,
i just want to try the audio quality 1 of those x series..but im so dissapointed by this X2..so im warning you guys this is not a music phone,its a shit phone,,dont ever ever eveerrrrr buy this one..
i and i think,i must stick with 'W' phones

i am great fan of your nutral reviews, but i see in your nokia's reviews you have some soft corner ofr nokia ?
in x2 you give 13hrs talk and 600hrs stndby, but in indiaan launche x2 the x2's official booklet tell us only 3.5hrs talk and 400hrs stndby

I have been using this ph for the last one month. Its a noisy phone and music lovers will surely hate this phone. It takes four full hours to charge the phone battery and being a nokia lover for many years, I am surely disappointed with this phone and currently thinking of switching over to some other brand
