hi i purchased this in 8800 in R mall Thane 2 days back..But i guess you can get this at 8400-8500 Rs.
Touch is superb..
camera is ok..Its Fixed focus.... no flash
In day time outdoor pics are good.
resolution is ok.
5.1 Music output is really nice.
internet browsing is good.
not sure about the Battery backup...

Addy, 05 Mar 2011from where did u buy it????im interested!!!In the Range of 15,000/- INR you cn go for Samsung Galaxy Ace a very nice handy phone having looks close to the iphone 4
But its a low end phone n its cost around 14600 INR.
If you increase ur budget to 18000?- you can have this wonderful and amzing phone by Motorola know as Motorola Defy MB525 which is an highend phone and its dust proof water resistant and scratch resistent a perfect phone for indian people and also lets you play HD games by Gameloft!!

exellent performance of Wi-Fi & GPS
smooth Capacitive Touch(Far better than resistive touch) with Swype messaging option is awesome..................!!!!!
the only drawback is it dosnt hav flash, but hav more pixels
internet freaks can prefer this mobile,
ANDROID 2.2 provides 2x-5x speed compared to previous versions, ofcourse model itself designed with 600Mhz prosessor

I shall never use SONy ericsson product anymore unless they fix their aftersales lines. FYI, i used SONY Xperia.

Sorry.. I just bought this phone and its wi-fi sucks! The connectivity is so bad, it appalls me. What is the use of an android phone if it cant connect to the internet?

I brought this phone 2days back, below are my reviews:
1. Value for money from Samsung, cheapest android phone from its fellow competitors
2. Definitely faster in its class, never seen it lag in anything so far
3. The Worst display Samsung could ever come up, because of lower screen resolution, but again its value for money
4.quality of plastic as said by many is definitely not cheap and looks professional and it also comes with silver color in the middle, i think that answers @rock question

Stylish design from Samsung
Push mail, Wifi B/G/N, GPS & more
3G, HSDPA, EDGE
Con's
Lower screen resolution
Not quite impressive camera
No video calling
My suggestion is to go for this phone if your budget is ~9k INR and looking for a decent android phone, if you are concerned about higher resolution display then do NOT buy this phone. Good luck.
