With a single core 1GHz CPU, 380MB of RAM, and an old generation GPU I believe this phone will be considered pretty weak quite fast.
you should put the extra money and get a DualCore CPU with 512+RAM and a better GPU, as apps and games will soon take advantage of this kind of hardware, and the Neo will be too weak to handle them.

Make the owne... moreActually SonyEricsson WILL update x10 to Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread, read the news before starting to blame them. Hmm...Do I know any phone which was or will be updated from such an old Anrdoid (1.6) to the latest Gingerbread? Answer is NO.

Seems to be a very nice handset . just hope the pricing is good , it'll be a very important thing for the success of this new gen SE phones . messaging is a very important part of any smart phone , wonder why it has not been taken into the consideration by the gsmarena while posting the preview of this phone .
@GSMARENA - please can you post the preview of the messaging , about the onscreen qwerty , the space in the screen etc . thanks

does anyone know if this set can record more than 30fps (with vga or nHD maybe?), let say 120fps for slow motion purpose?

AnonD-743, 21 Mar 2011Yeah, unfortunately, you are right.actually hes not completely right. when people bought x10, sony NEVER said they would update it to 2.2, all they told was 2.1, which they DID. and yes that sucks, but dont blame sony for your own faults for not finding out the info thats important.
neo- quite a cheap phone, same cpu as friggin desire HD which costs about 70% more, awesome camera and gingerbread. i think thats a pretty darn good deal. arc- only design, play- idk what they wanted to do with it really. but neo will sell good imo.

Yeah right sony. Release your Xperia X10 a year and a half ago with 1.6 running. Make the owners wait a year for an update. Months later finally give them multi touch. Then decide not to update the $500 phone anymore because you want the x10 suckers to dole out another $500 to get android 2.3 that you get for free!
No great jump in hardware. All you're selling is gingerbread.
NEVER BUY SONY!!!!!!
