as a buyer don't just easily be carried away new technological advances many companies offer nowadays... the question u need to ask ur self is "what's in it for me???"... for instance, display competition, samsung offers Super AMOLED Plus- It saves u power... but the problem is oversaturated colors and superbright display hurt my eyes that's why i would opt for super LCD's... 380mb of RAM? THAT'S MORE ENOUGH TO RUN HIGH QUALITY MOBILE GAMES..Dual core??? FYI... neither Froyo or Gingerbread has official support for dual core technology (yeah, tha's ryt!) so u can consider this a marketing gimmick proof [SE Neo scored 65fps while dual core Optimus 2x sored just 71fps considering it's a dual core phone] :~)... only honeycomb will truly benefit from dual core tech. i beleive SE Neo has the right balance and many people should get this phone.

jhoravi, 09 Mar 2011I want to inform you that Bravia engine is just software. What's bad news is that it has only... moreThere is nothing to be shameful. With 380 mb ram Xperia neo offers better performance than ur phones having 512 mb ram. Top 65 fps in neocore benchmark, and top result in quadrant benchmark. Where r ur 512 mb ram phones in these results ???

People buying a dual-core at this time is truly stupid. There are no software that fully utilized its capability and it will that years for developer to optimize a software make to most use out of it. It has been always like this. When the new technology come, the early hardware is just experimental. Look at the early day when we got colored or camera phone. By next year, there will be bunch of software that require dual core and the early dual-core phones won't be able to run them. I think as for now, single core phone is the way to go.

According to the white paper at least the Xperia Pro has 512mb of ram.

Neo should have the same amount of ram, as they both have the same hardware except for the hardware keyboard. Are GSM Arena sure about the amount of RAM?

Anonymous, 10 Mar 2011380 Mb RAM only. . damn it for those spreading it's 512Mb. Now i dun see this phone as a goo... moreYou can barely use 256Mb of ram on a phone, why everyone complain about less than 512Mb of ram?
Theses people seem to don't understand a thing about hardware.

I like the design but fingertip magnet factor is awful and revolting! The pro version is excellent but it need better collors. If you see neo and other phones like nokia x or samsung corby you'll see that colors are for details not for the entire phone like the freaking red version of pro. Dear Sony please correct this things than we all have a winner!

Damn it got 65 fps that's sick uptimus 2X from LG (dual core phone) scored 72, I can't beleive the difference between single and dual -core are so small, The neo must be blazing fast, I mean it's even got a higher score then SE's own Xperia play, wich just comes to about 60 fps.
This phone will be hard to top price/quality wise :D

I was just going to preorder.... but with 380 mb ram... i'm not sure... i'll wait for a full review with the fully finished stable device, and then unfortunately, it is a bit laggy now... if it's because the ram, than it'll be a deal breaker... such a laggy phone can be bought for even less... this low ram can even kill the multitasking, since the more apps you start the more lag you get...
