i'm an android CSR from M company. i bought this phone for the sole purpose that it's cheap and its android...since i cant afford to my our company's android phones (very pricey).
so as an agent who accepts calls about this phone..i pretty much can say its a very handy phone. its good overall. so far i had just one problem about it..i did a factory reset, it came up again..i did something on it and its gone. =) just a matter of tinkering with the settings of the phone.
if you love android phones..cheap ones..buy this. i guarantee its worth it. =)

Fantastic to use and learnt every thing in 2 days short time. But its memory not as per given advertisement. Good Camera but vedio recorder is not up to expectation

when i first used the phone i edited the list settings in messaging from folders(drafts,outbox,sent) to conversation list. now i want to return to folder list but i don't know where to find it. please help me ASAP. thank you

juice defender apps for saving battery did the trick to give in a little more time for battery power. display is nice, cannot expect too much from an entry level smart phone, got it, was struggling the first few days but now sort of used to it...the only thing the alarm won't work when the phone is switched off unlike in Nokia phones lol :D this is my first samsung..

it is a very nice phone
just little difficult to control in the starting but after 1 month u can easily control it

I tried this phone last day in thailand. 6000 bahts.200$.
nothing really special, the quality of the plastic is cheap.
the only nice thing is swype.
outside of this, you should consider the HTC wildfire.price will go down in 1 month once the HTC S are out.

Sounds like a fantastic phone, sadly the video samples confirm that video recording is awful... I guess it's the Zylo or Elm for me then.

Got this phone today, and it is the wise choice for a phone imo.
What is smart? I'm not sure taking your office with you every where you go is smart. I'm not sure a basic phone in this day and age is smart either. If you're a moderate like me, this is the phone, It's curvy and never itches or annoys you in your pocket, not as big to annoy as full size galaxy, iphone, or htc's. Perfect weight and size and shape. Sound is great, interface is on the money, screen size is go, price is go. Best phone I ever bought, really happy with it so far.
