Iphone has looked the same since 2007, there is more design change in htc phones than in iphones.
Samsung they have no design, same looks same cheap plastics, bad updates.
Sony Ericsson, they use the same design form.

Looks does matter. While us tech geeks go for function over form, some people do buy phones on design and premium basis. Something that is more self-explanatory than brand loyalty.
When the second clip showed the text "premium design," I was in disbelief that they even thought of the description. That is something reserved for the likes of the Nokia N8, iPhone 4, and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc - some of the best-designed phones to date.
Again, I am talking about the "design" paradigm only. For a supposedly premium handset, HTC could have thought of another design. Design-wise, HTC's outputs became redundant after the much-praised build of the HTC HD 2.

How many different ways do you think there are when designing a square body phone with a flat touchscreen that covers the front? Would you a buy a phone that looks like snookerball? Well, that's what a thought. Apple got away with reselling the same phone for 3 years and nobody says jack. As soon as HTC doesn't invent a phone that looks like a football, you start complaining. For you info, i have a HTC HD7 and it looks nothing like the HTC Sensation. And before that i had HTC HD2 and it looked nothing like a current HD7 device. So if you are just here to hate, then get lost, but if you question is serious, then get a clue...

I doubt they will have a problem like motorolo though. The specs in this baby is top notch
