There’s a sizable price gap between the two models right now, but whichever way you go, you’ll get your money’s worth.
[deleted post]The review put into contest 3 ANDROID based phones. So if they decide to put Nokia in the contest, they would have to throw in iPhone as well don't you think?

The Samsung Galaxy S II came out on top most often – not always by a lot, but it does seem like the winner in our tests. The big lead in Flash performance and the better 1080p videos give it a definite edge, while the 4.3” SuperAMOLED Plus display is miles ahead of any regular LCD and it seals the deal.
LG is far better, they said their is a price for rushing to be the world's first dual core smartphone, yes their is they are now in the guinness book of world record that's history in the books, when their is a recitation in the classroom what is the first dual core smartphone,of course history will remember lg optimus 2x,SGS2 will simply remembered for being copycat,lg is truly world class they are also the first to launch the first 3D smartphone they have the brightest nova display in the world.they are truly original comapare to copy cats.

Officials are for noobs :/
Why???????
why you put 2 dual core handsets againt a single core handsets. bit silly.
My S2 now get very warm, hot, around the the camera!
To all these people who think that buying supercharged dual core handsets somehow means they are future proof, I bet in just a year from now, Samsung will cease to update this device with the latest Android.
As i have used optimus 2x for 3 months from 1st release this is the best phone i used. i don't think that any other phone will come close to it in long usage or will show stability with power backup as it in near future
It's funny to use the Video comparassion tool to compare Galaxy SII video with most other HD phones and you see that there's almost the same amount of fine detail.
I got the LG Optimus 2X, and I have tried my friends Samsung GS2. The only real difference when using them is a slightly better screen on SGS2. Both are kickass phones though
every1 knows who will win. Galaxy S II is pure power house & it's hard to beat for now, in graphics nVidia is topnotch & they r not new in this field at all. ppl can expect best from them always.
sahil, 03 Jun 2011Is waiting for quad core processors a gud opt. than getting a dual core sgs2 nwThanks for that. Enjoy your wait. Ive got the SGS2 and its the most amazing phone ever. When I want a new phone in a year or 2, ill get whatever is out then :).
i like lg optimus 2x it didn't dissapoint me it's very fast,if it only be in a android 2.3 ginger bread it could be moe faster, and by the way why is it lg optimus 2x is always the contender here for SGS2,i know their are other superior phones out their, like the arc and htc sensation.
Kinda wondered why the Atrix wasn't present also. Maybe because the screen resolution is higher?
Hopefully they'll get around to comparing all four dual cores (Sensation being the fourth) someday soon
Take these phones, put in a better microphone (a la Nokia N8), and I buy 'em (the SII specially)
