Meego is a nice os, however it came too late. If this were realesed in 2009 we would have a real player in the game, now it's just another dot in the Android/IOS ocean. One day maybe nokia will start to make sense again and use android.

Hmm.. This is really cool.. And windows 7.5 looks damn cool too.. Only thing is NOKIA needs to fix that Zune thing to connect the phone to PC.. Replace symbian with MeeGo for lower end and WinMo for higher end.. That ll be awesome.. Go MeeGo..

After owning the n900 and now the n8, i have reached the dreaded conclusion i cannot leave without a qwerty. Perhaps with this OS i could, if its implemented cool. THe fact is a phone made of a single piece is always better than one that opens or slides.
Having said this, im waiting for a 720p qwerty meego phone. That doesnt mean i would mind having a N9.
Like someone else said, perhaps nokia will add more meego devices.
The sweetest deal is it can run all android apps. Thats gotta be very cool.

i presume you don't know anything about mobile platforms
android is running on a virtual machine that why it needs higher cpu
meego is linux = no need for a dual core cpu 1ghz with a gpu is all that meego needs

I was going to get the Samsung Galaxy S2, but with signal problems, wifi problems, GPS lock issues and OVER HEATING issues, its a NO GO.
I'm staying with NOKIA!!

Absolutely Brilliant. Best UI out there by far. Beats iOS hands down, not to mention it makes Android look hacked together. OMG!
