Hi, are you sure that MSM7227 chipset has adreno205 GPU? What i found, that everywhere they say that qualcomm MSM7227 has only dreno200 GPU.

Why do you think I said that a 6Mp DSLR camera is completely incomparable with any of these cameraphones?
You simply didn't understand my comment, what I mean is that we can expect a quality standard when we are talking about 5Mp cameraphones, OBVIOUSLY it's not the megapixels that counts, the point is that Salsa performns a lot worse than most 5Mp cameraphones, just like you expect of a standard 1Mp camera of a cheap featurephone.

The Motorola Defy seems to suffer from widespread problems with failing ear speakers, so that one's out.
The Salsa is currently available for around €320. This really is a tough sell, considering that you can get a Galaxy S for less and the the SonyEricsson Ray will soon be available for slightly more and even the HTC-made Nexus One is only slightly more expensive. All three phones boast much faster SoCs and much better displays.
So I'm really not sure who the target demographic for the Salsa is. Idiots, maybe?

You don't need to teach me about megapixels, I'm use a DSLR with 6Mp which is completely incomparable with any of these cameraphones.

Talking about a quality (Not Megapixels!), yes, I agree HTC's camera's quality is really not so good.

You guys forgot the Moto Defy!! 800MHz CPU, 200 GPU, 5MP Cam, 3.7' display with double the screen resolution and now with Android Froyo seems a worthy contender if not winning it all the way.

I have a small ceorrection for your review, it doesn't have a msm7230 processor if it did it would have a much highter linpack score. It uses the msm7227 turbo the same as the htc cha cha
