What's with the crippled RAM and non-internal storage? It's just an overclocked Sensation....

Like the red highlights, fundamentally hate branding. Only reason I won't buy it, silly as it might be.

Got an "old" HTC sensation running a customrom (sensation XE rom with tweakers). I've got the beats software and a decent headphone(Besides, I really don't like the red accents the XE has).

The benchmarks on my phone are even better than the one gsmarena is showing(72000 and 32000 resp.). Not that I really care, my phone just feels a lot smoother than with a stock rom.

It's the same as the first sensation, and only software differance. I'm going to upgrade my sensation to the XE =D

Since hardware improvements are far more expensive than software (DSPs) i lean to the latter mode. Unfortunately. I'm willing to move on to a 4.3 or 4.7 smartphone but only the iPhone meets my standards for audio and music connectivity. At least for the moment.

It's interesting that my Galaxy S II does flash 1080p HD with no problem at all despite 1.2 GHz cpu. Sweet to know you got that kin of performance in your device even though the screen doesn't support the resolution. The Galaxy note screen resolution is great for Full HD though. Maybe my next device...

EdB, 22 Sep 2011Still only 700mb of RAM. Still only 1gb onboard memory. I don't want any phone w/ 'Dr. Dre' on... morei dont think dr dre is used for his rapper appeal , but rather that he is one of if not the best best music producer and knows a heck of a lot about quality sound.

I got a question, duz anyone know if the beats mode will kick in when using other beats headphones like the studios? Or do u need specially built htc versions?

Unfortunately it turns out that for the most part all the Beats thing is just a Dsp (bombastic equalization i bet) and better headphones. Not hardware improvements thus in key areas like the output impedance iPhone is still far better.

Not to mention the lo fi a2dp codec that HTC uses on their phones.

Heck build in a line out, fix a2dp codec and low the output impedance. That's real audiophile basics.
