[deleted post]The best interfaces are those that are natural and 'invisible'. That is why the videos on youtube are of babies playing with iPads, and less of babies playing with Android tablets, as they are just slightly less intuitive.
This is something that Apple truly gets, and has always been at the forefront for. Wat you don't realise is that they are also very strong in supporting accessibility functions. Even blind people were able to use iPhones fully, previously, due to the integrated nature of accessibility functions throughout the OS.
With SIRI, well, that's just taken it to a whole new level.
I went to an ATT store today. I spent sometime with samsung galaxy s2. Went thru the super amoled screen, web browser, camera, andriod settings menu, multiple homescreens and everything. Its true the handset is super fast. But when my eyes just happened to see the iphone 4s, my true initial reaction was wow...what a piece of beauty. iphone just blew me away with its display, awesome true touchscreen experience and ios5 features. In fact galaxy s2 started looking like a big plastic device with a big faded screen compared to iphone4s. I mean the display on iphone4s is purely magical. I never wanted to lay my hands on such an overrated galaxy s2. In iphone 4s the marriage of hardware and software is at its heavenly best and you will marvel at the coolness of the device. To me the next reaction was..when can I get an iphone4s..?ATT salesman told "if your lucky, you might be able to do so in 1 month. We have completely sold out all our iphone4s". While leaving the store, my eyes were still in awe of the timeless apple product and was wondering why would anyone buy a samsung gs2 when iphone4s sits just beside it.
Iphone4s is simply stunning! You wont get that feeling on any other phone

It always boils down that they always coming up with great products. And no one...as in no one can argue with that.
HAHAHA, assembled in china, and it costs an arm and a leg, I have the money, but i wont ever buy it...
The hardware and new ios5 is a spectacular feature for the new 4s, i do believe they should have changed the image, but this is an apple product and no matter what it looks like everyone will want the new one when its out. I DO have 2 noticable faults ive come across.
1. you do NOT have the facility to switch between a 2g and 3g mode like you do on the iphone 4. which for the area i live in isnt good as i live in an unsupported 3g area, so i can never get a signal.
2. siri is conflicting with the icloud in some cases.
otherwise great phone, unfortunatley ive had to return my iphone 4s due to not being able to switch between 2g and 3g so im back to my iphone 4, so im holding out to see what comes next.
[deleted post]Its funny how a lot of you thinks this review is reeks of fanboyism when its just agreeing with the rest of the world thinks and from all the major review sites. You haters stop drinking the hater koolaid please. This review was well....just reviewing the TRUTH!
So many Disadvantages.. cud have been beter if there were none or a few (like 3 at least)
I just got the iPhone 4S.. will give my opinion when I have opened the box.. I will rest the E6 and SGS2 for a little bit, but i can honestly say these 2 phones impressed me after the iPhone 4 I had.
lastly, if you have an SGS2, no questions you have to get that SPB Shell app for it... - amazing!!!

From Stephen Morgan of redmondpie.com:
"Iím speechless after seeing how well Siri worked with different voice types and what tasks it was able to perform. Iím even tempted to make the switch after watching recent videos of Siri in use! And thatís coming from an "Android fanboy."
From the New York Times:
"... over all, Apple has done an excellent job. The question isnít whatís in a name ó itís whatís in a phone. And the answer is: ďA lot of amazing technology. And some of it feels like magic.Ē
From laptopmag.com review of iPhone 4S:
"...it's hard to argue against the iPhone 4S' near-perfect combination of hardware and software."
when apple claims iphone 4s is the best 8mp camera phone, why not compare it with the best camera phone.. nokia n8. nevermind the 12mp. set it to 8mp.
Nokia N9's camera is better. iPhone's photos suffer a little bit of oversharpening. Look at the slight halos around high contrasting areas (esp. the resolution chart).

Apple only made iOS and itunes.
From Tech Radar review:
Let's make no bones about it: the iPhone 4S is one of the best phones on the market at the moment, and the best thing Apple has ever created.
I don't see the point of arguing about this review because this will not change the way we think about iOS and iPhones. In the end the same old disscusion wil remain: Not that about the hardware qualities of the phone..but about the software. iPhone 4S has its hardware upgraded to match the current trend (except ram - but with no proper multi-tasking that is no problem for it). But iOS remains the same -ok, with upgraded cheerd by iOs fans- a closed OS with the same drawbacks. And don't tell abut SIRI..it's useless outside English speaking countries..
In the final, this review greets a new smartphone, but it will not change the mind of Android and WM users about Apple, that will still belive it's crap. And Apple users will be happy about their choice and brag about it. And it's simple as this. everyone is entitled to their own opinion (be it paid or not :P )and has the freedom to express it.
I, for example, i don't ever consider buying an Apple product now, cause i don't like iOS. I will stick loyal to HTC (Android OS. Now i own a HD2 with WM6.5 and a Desire with a rock solid custom rom from xda-developers and i'm very happy with them) and I'll upgrade my HD2 with the HTC's flagship of april 2012 (as a gift for my birthday :P ).
Of course, if Apple will change its iOS to mach my needs that are currently fulfiled by Android..I will take Apple into consideration, because im'n not narrowed minded...but this will probably happen when the pigs will fly :P
