i love this phone coz bb is my love
pls which is beter curve 9360 or bold 9900
Very very cool phone but the battery life sucks big time. Wish BB can come up with a phone with proper battery support
I just bought my first ever BB device Curve 9360 last week (i was a die hard core Nokia user) & altho I loved it very much, as days passes I was really dissaponited on some issues. First, the battery life. After reading all the reviwes & comments all of us are facing wz the same problem. Second, the device gets warm & hot if on FB, BB App World, browsing. It is so frustating & I am very upset BB would create such device. My friends are using the old curve & they say this is the worst curve ever (altho wz the new OS7)!!
I'm thinking to upgrade my phone to the new Bold 9790 coz my friend just bought it & is very good. Shame on you BB. I felt cheated.
Hey
Does it have the sleeper function? if yes where is it?
thanks
Anonymous, 27 Nov 2011I have seen cheap chinese clone Blackberrys in 2009 with better specsheets.A freind of mine has some new Blackberry clones due out for 2012. The specs look good to.
This is my first BB phone and I'm in love with it. I previously used Samsung Galaxy Ace but just simply got tired of Android (I mean c'mon! Phone manufacturers keep on releasing new models eveery week and I don't earn millions to go with the flow and buy a new and updated model monthly!). I only use my phone for business and messaging and my BB Curve 9360 delivers what I need. I don't care much about the camera since I would only use it to update my photos in Facebook and Twitter. I didn't have a tinge of regret switching from SGA to Curve 9360 compared to the last time when I bought my Galaxy Ace where I was weighing if I made the right choice. My BB Curve has the features that I mostly need and use. I would always get compliments from my colleauges who are also BB users since my hone is definitely a looker and amazingly slim for a BB. I must say thanks GSMArena for the sound review and thanks to RIM for coming up with this beauty. My next plan is to buy a BB Playbook to pair with my Curve but then again, I am not closing my doors to Android since I also love that platform. All in all, having a Blackberry works wonders for me as a professional! I just hope it will come with a software update to improve its battery life but for the meantime, I can always bring my charger with me ;-) Looking forward to also get the new BB phones next year with BBX platform.
Just get the Xperia pro. At the same price, with much better specs in almost every way and more comfortable landscape keyboard it's a no-brainer.
Would also be interested to know in more detail how exactly GSMArena thinks that BlackBerry is more suited to business than Android (perhaps a blog post or article).

BB handset is so nice i love this handset
Most Blackberries are overpriced and very outdated spec sheets.
But there are many still prefer BB phones..
In Malaysia, Tennagers like to buy BB(most of them), iPhones and SGS1/2
These are the most popular phones in Malaysia besides HTC desire lineup..
No matter.. For those who want glam or style from these phone(BB, iPhones, SGS, HTC Desire s), there must have money to buy the phones..
BB's r for kids or for girls who for some reason have an iphone and then needs a BB lol
Just get a decent fone in the first place and u wont need 2 crappy ones ;-)
Nice phone but battery life Don't last a full day...
As always.. The best phone evah!
please do htc explorer review pleassssssssssssssssssssssss !!!
... but the time is surely up for BB. Native DIVX on 2.46" screen? Robust processor? At 800Mhz? And hilarious '...the phone is a looker'. Yeah right, but only if this is the first time you have encountered a BlackBerry nmobile phone.
And, sorry to be blunt, but your review reads as barely rehashed PR fluff.
BB had a disaster start of this Quater BB 9900 was the worst handset ever made without prper testing..[features were amazing though] 9360 is probably the best OS 7 has to offer.....but again where are you going RIM ..all smartphones have 8MP cameras' have video calling n much better app markets!!!
Wow! Multi touch support on a phone with no touch screen. Impressive!
this phone is an embarassement to the mobile market in 2011
