I wonder if the phone comparison benchmarking in the review using galaxy s2 i9100 or the i9100g variant because spec wise the i9100g variant have similar speed and graphic capability?
the back panel is starting to become loose. its the side where the sim goes. and the speaker breaks fast. already its noisy, like a busted speaker!
Thank you Motorola.
Mac, 26 Dec 2011Hi guys, this phone looks awesome; it's pretty much everything I would like out of a phone. I ... moreThe Lapdock 100 debuted as an accessory for the Atrix, which is exclusive to Bell. So unfortunately, I don't think so. Rogers won't let go of their exclusivity for anything. :/
actually i work in a phone shop and had a motorola rep come in and demonstrate everything that the phone can do and within the screen itself it has the color pixels and brightness of the samsung galaxy s2 and the battery consumption on the screen on the htc sensation with both of them combined you get the bright vivid colours and clean low battery consumption.
Hi guys, this phone looks awesome; it's pretty much everything I would like out of a phone. I currently have the motorola atrix 4g and would like this phone as an upgrade. There's only one problem, here in Canada, only rogers offers the razr xt910. I was recently on motorola's Canadian website, and was looking at the accessories for the razr xt910, the lapdock100, and clicked the link to purchase...and it took me to bell's accessories page...could this phone be coming to bell? Anyone have any insight? Thank you.

Phones like the Samsung Galaxy S2 let you buy additional batteries for your phone. Which is smart if you plan on a very long travel on do a lot of web-browsing during the day.

If you mean if the phone crashes system (wich is highly unlikely) then the lock button pretty much forces the phone to turn off. And also letting the battery drain would be a 100% sure way of restart.

the thing that makes me think twice whether or not i should buy this phone is the battery...what'll happen if something goes wrong with the battery since it is unremovable??
How about the battery...coz the battery is not removable...If problems were to occur to the battery then how?
I got this phone a couple of days ago and I'm truly delighted by it. It's powerful, beautiful and a real eye catcher.
Before my mini review, let me say that coming here and bragging about GalaxyS2 is the most insecure thing you can do, so please stop embarassing us all. What do you have to prove to yourself? Do you have to keep saying to yourself how good your phone is? Talking dirt about other phones makes your phone better? Please people, get some sense.
Now with that out of the way, I highly recommend this phone, just because it's amazing, not because of stupid fanaticism. The screen is absolutely gorgeous, you WON'T see a single pixel ever, unless you use a freaking spyglass, it's so, SO bright it will bother you, sure you can say X-phone's brightest, but who freaking cares when you're going to tone it down anyway. Yes, it's THAT bright. I got it less than halfway down and it's "bearable" at night time. You wanna go blind or something? Then by all means go get a *slightly* brighter display. This one's perfect as it is. Vivivd accourate colors, excellent resolution and overall feeling. What's best, the gorilla glass means ONE swipe with your sleeve will keep it crisp and clean. I love that.
Dual core is a delight too, you can do as many things as you want and it won't slow down, trust me. I was trying animated wallpapers with all animations to the max level, while listening to music through bluetooth headphones, with WiFi on, and constantly updating Twitter. Not. A. Sweat.
Another scenario: listening to music through the speaker, while videocalling (the music plays in the background) and texting/ updating Facebook, all at the same time. Not a sweat, and the phone didn't even got warm.
Lastly, body construction: flawless, the phone feels great in hand but keep in mind it's a big phone and you'll need either big hands (as me) or use the two to operate it. It always looks sharp because of the materials used, never smudgey and filled with fingerprints like other plastick-y phones, a true beauty. Oh, and the Kevlar is addicting to touch, trust me.
On a side note, as you might have figured out by now, I'm a very heavy features user, the battery hasn't failed me, actually yesterday I was willingfuly *draining* the battery (wich was at 20% at 11 pm) just so I could charge it at a low level. Got to see a full episode of Pushing Daisies before having to plug it in. Mind you I had 3G/HDSPA going through half the day for tweeting, and whatnot, and I took several pics. That gives you an idea ;-)
Suming it up, it's a really nice phone, and it's unique, the shape is very iconic, people will want to touch it, and it's got plenty of processing power to handle your every command.
I've bought the Razr 1 week ago I have no problem with it, I was able to push the phone to its max and the performance did not drop at all. I heard that some apps crashes and I didn't have any of that problems. The camera is good only sometimes if not taken properly the image will look grainy. It does look a bit big, maybe moto is trying to cross tablet with smartphone. Overall is the best smartphone currently standing next to SG Sll, can't wait for the ICS update (it should take the full advantage of the Razr). This phone would last for 5 years at least with all the tech with it.

Jeff, 10 Dec 2011I had the chance to try it and the display is really disappointing. Its also a bit uncomfortab... moreYou mean to say you like the Low-res SII with a horrible green/yellow tint and overall messed up color balance over this? Are you color blind, with a facination for plastic?
Samsung both look and feel like cheap tinker toys. Also, they still market the SII as "The world's slimmest smartphone" in some countries, such as Denmark. Saw a TV commercial for it as late as yesterday.
the best android ever
thx so much moto
I had the chance to try it and the display is really disappointing. Its also a bit uncomfortable in the hands because of its wideness. Other than that I think it's a great phone, but the Nexus or Galaxy S2 is better!
