How did you manage to get a Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G with voice telephony to perform your speakerphone test? None of them came with that enabled.

John Shepard, 18 Jan 2012It says - gave, not invented. There is a big difference!no. that means just that. by them stating apple gave the world the tablet theyare claiming they invented it or at the very least they were the first to bring it. which both are blatant lies

Checkout d Sony Tablet S & you'll knw what innovation is. PS 1 or PSP games, IR remote which is much better than what Samsung is giving with dis, DLNA technology which can be used with all branded products & a UNIQUE design for utmost comfort.

GSM Arena did not mention the existance of the Wi-fi only model, well there is its called GT-P6210,NOT P6200...so i bought this model thru a friend and got the wi-fi only model. Now i'm stuck with a model that doesn't support a sim card.Perhaps someone can redirect me to where i can exchange it for a new 3G version, the one i got is still brand-new.took it out of the box just once.

I don't like the display ratio-it's too narrow for my taste. For 10 inch tablet it's OK, but for a ~7 inch is not comfortable for reading.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2012Um how is Samsung not the inventor? They fact are very big and important in enters. They are s... moreA lot of what we see in mobile phones today is a natural development of existing technology and hardward. Like automobiles, so to speak. I am just asking the question. How far can a corporation like Samsung go just by refining the mobile but not actually creating or introducing new technology. Consumers expect big things from Samsung now that they have saturated the market with just building a better mobile phone, and all credit to them. Yes they build screens etc, but Samsung can only go backwards without something that is actually new. Think about it. I have a Note and it has lost its charm because it is really not that spectacular in what it can actually do compared to what people think it can do. Great device sure, but I am like a junkie - where is the next leap in mobile devices that is not just a natural development of current hardward and software? Does anyone have any suggestions?

GOD , 18 Jan 2012The single most useless size device on the planet ! Y ? Use smart phone or tablet ,smart phone... moreThanks to Samsung and other companies we have choice, i don't like or need smartphones, or big tablet like iPad, i think iPad have the best OS and apps but because of it's size i will not buy it, if only apple will release 7" tablet, this is the perfect size IMO and many people agree on this.

To sum up. Portability with multiple quality functionality. It can really read books with one hand without feeling pain in the ARM.

I will give this to Samsung they really do cover every size and they seem to be on a roll with making there products slimmer and never ending bigger screen. my only problem with them is the build quality so often it is just really cheap feeling plastics whic for what they are charging is crap. Also i am wondering how big will they go with there phones and also how thin because to be honest holding it will just not seem great after a while.

Unfortunately, outside the US, Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus 7 does not offer the IR port. :(

GSM Arena comment "Apple gave the world the tablet. Samsung gave the world a choice" is an appropriate way to put it, however I dont see the quantum leap in technology or software just yet. Yes video and camera have come a long way, but really not much else. So you can play a game, so what! Access the internet with wifi, so what! The laptop is still indispensible and can cost the same as these tablets and larger mobiles. It will be exciting times ahead, but it is difficult to see how Samsung can meet expectations when its forte is marketing and packaging, not inventing.

Would be great for me, but the Android OS seems too repulsive right now. Ofcourse it is nice that there are so many apps for it but after seeing web OS or QNX or even iOS, the Android just seems not intuitive and crowded...
