1. It's a windows phone mango. Which makes it better than android - its smoother, more fluid/ Android lags even on the top end phones like a galaxy s2. I had a galaxy s2. Threw it and bought the lumia 800.
2. It has quality apps. Android has 10x more apps. But half of them are virus infected. Also, it counts full apps, demos and trial as different apps (so does ios). Thus its inflated.
wp7.5 has apps from all major developers. and skype is just round the corner. of course you cab't make video calls on the lumia, but you cna make free voice calls when you are abroad..!)
wp7.5 has games from EA, Ubisoft and Microsoft game studios as well as konami etc.
3. Android updates are slow to come because the companies implement their own UI into the OS. (eg. Samsung implements their touchwiz, swype keyboard etc., HTC implements their HTC sense). wp updates are available for each phone on the same day, worldwide.)
4. The wp7.5 keyboard is miles ahead of android (even ICS 4.0)
5. Plus yeah, nokia gives you free maps, music, real time directions.
6. Android is susceptible to viruses. wp is not.

frnds i'm thinking of buying this phone but confused between SE Neo V and Omnia W... with which I should go for... currently using ACE so thats why I'm consedring Android once again coz there are plenty of apps and games are there in market which I could'nt enjoy coz of small qvga resolution and I think NEO V can offer me that coz it has bigger resolution... On the other hand Omnia W is a totally differnt option which is offering a fresh OS which seems to have a lot of potential... So please guide me...loking for a honest reply....

Nokia is really pushing it hard to compete the indian market which i really appreciate. But here in this comparison I believe Omnia W is clearly ahead. One thing I really liked about Lumia is its video recording quality which is very superior but in all other aspects Omnia W is better. What we really require in phones is good battery backup for long calling, nice camera, good quality sound & watching videos apart from its smartphone capabilities inwhich both the phones are at par. Omnia W fullfills all these demands. I would suggest Omnia W. If you want to be loyal to Nokia than go for Lumia 710 since its also good but not better than Omina W.

Any lumia and 710 is cheaper abt 15,300 in india and also if any prblm is dere in lumia it was resolved by nokia by giving software update .. A big demerit of omnia is that if you have any software problem like i read on opinions is not resolved by samsung yet but if anyone had read lumia demerit then it was resolved by nokia.. nokia is pushing hard for lumia but samsung is not .. If yoy go on nokia site then you find that is promoting lumia in every part of india but not so with omnia .. I want to say if you r looking for a good WP then go with lumia

Rahul, 01 Mar 2012go for lumia..nice combo of wp & nokia..samsung doesnt go wd the wp..looks ODD!!Samsung has a very good hardware specs which are at par with lumia 800 and is half the price .
Nokia doesnt support GLNASS so the GPS is slower.
You are only gonna miss the nokia maps/Drive with samsung omnia w.
