Android smartphone gama is a huge advantage against Apple, and I am truly glad to see iPhone's superiorness era coming to and end in the hands of the lil' droid.
Samsung same discusting box type design copied from apple, nthng unique, only hype multi core processor nd amoled disgustng, camera, music, design, battery in every segment sony clear winner, using xperia ray,any single droid from samsung,lg,htc cant beat xperia ray in this price range, nxt buy xperia sola as i dnt like big phones, inspite of that xperia s is far better than any droid avalible
Inspirofy, 24 Mar 2012Well... I've got Sony Xperia S with Android 4 update, got it couple of minutes ago =))))how much? what country?
News as reported today.
Telstra and Samsung have just unveiled the "ultra fast" Galaxy S II 4G which will run on Telstra's LTE network from tomorrow.
The 4G S II version also has a larger 4.5" (800×480) SuperAMOLED Plus screen, more potent 1.5GHz dual core processor and a bigger battery than original S II. It also kitted out with Near Field Communications chip built in for tag reading.
It wouldn't make sense of Sony to make a worse or even equivalent phone to Galaxy S II which was released almost an year ago lol!
Baltic countries got the HDMI cable in the box.
Also the SmartTags what some will not .
Well... I've got Sony Xperia S with Android 4 update, got it couple of minutes ago =))))
I was just looking at a youtube video of Xperia S and they noted it has troube or does not render well on zooming in on a photo it has taken. This would be important for me. Is this also a problem with SII.
Thanks for any comments.
I put my Galaxy S2 on for sale and bought a Sony Xperia S, the camera is brilliant you cant fault it BUT it goes down hill from thier, the screen is not as responsive the resultion is not as good, the 3 hot keys are sticky/slow, its much heavier, clusmy UI, I have now sold it and gone back to my Galaxy S2, now awaiting the Galaxy S3.
definitely Sony experia is better... i bought this phone today...... it is superb phone camera is excellent ...... touch is also fast...... Samsung galaxy sucks.... battery is osome in Sony xperia ...... love u Sony......

Don't take my comment the wrong way. I've just joined the conversation now, but you say android only works fine ond high end phones, and you are comparing it to the iOS. But is there a low end phone running iOS 5 to make this comparison fair? or have you tried to upgrade iphone 3gs to ios 5? I Guess not..
was excited to check out the xperia cos of the reviews of the new screen.......its boring!! Sony needs to seriously work on the ui its just so dull and gloomy and sad. u have no user of the phones great screen resolution on the ui.

there is nothing lemme say it one more time , NOTHING can be BEST for a long time , in current time yes , XS processor is better even compared to the one year old sgs II with its old exynos processor (duh)
The Xperia S does come with an HDMI cable around 0.5m long but this could be for Singapore only
I was surprise that Xperia S is not clear winner over GS2. Xperia S is a a year gap since GS2 lunch. GS2 still perform in the top line to date compare to latest high end device.
PLUSSS ++ Xperia should be use Gorilla Glass :(
GSIII is about shown up... I'll wait for it.
