Anonymous, 30 May 2012I recently upgraded my Galaxy SII to ICS V4.0.3. The upgrade went smoothly but battery standby... moreSame problem here....
I recently upgraded my Galaxy SII to ICS V4.0.3. The upgrade went smoothly but battery standby time has gone from about 3 days on Gingerbread to about 1 day on ICS. For some strange reason the battery usage indicator attributes most of the drain to the screen (about 50%) even though the phone is in standby most of the time.
I therefore don't recommend upgrading until Samsung have sorted out this issue with Google.

lexus, 21 May 2012I and my friend have SII.My friend updated ICS and now he encounters freezing and nonresponsiv... moreis it official update? if not then you shouldn't complain... that's the reason they are holding back... I've pushed them earlier on for the gingerbread 2.3.6 when I was using the 2.3.3(it was very stable) and now I regretted...
Anyway, if it's not the official, don't complain...
I and my friend have SII.My friend updated ICS and now he encounters freezing and nonresponsive screen. Also the system is working slower than before.Battery performance is worse than before. Now he can not reverse to previous version.I am happy because I have not updated my device.
Guys,do not be in a hurry and wait for some time because ICS is not stable at the moment.
Can anyone confirm if there was a SGS2 ICS update OTA for LatAm? I want to have an idea on how long it will take to actually get the SGNote ICS update.
