Hey , Guys who have this phone and used it for a while , Is the problem of the screen gets yellow when hot is real ?
I also want to know if the screen is better than the 256ppi amoled of the RAZR .
I am from Macau. I'be been using this phone for over a month. I'be
found out if you choose network to wcdma only and also turn off Bravia engine your battery would last a lot longer
hi guys I bought xperia s yesterday when i was surfing the web it reboot of its own and when i close the youtube by presing home button its sound from youtube coming from background continuously I tap another video tgen there was two sounds coming
can anyone tell me about these problem pls
Overall it is a great phone, I agreed with some posts. But we are looking at the improvement of the battery life.
Solid feeling n screen is awsome
Wow..what a phone..
Shame shame samsung...after launching this phone i said that sony>>>>samsung.,,but after releasing Galaxy S3.
Xperia S is better than S2
Y no information about the yellow colour when we used the xperia s so long and so hot.
y sony didn't fix this problem.I think this model is famous in 2012.
Please hurry up fix this problem asap.
What I like -
- nice design and size just right
- function feature is great eg (NFC)tag is useful
- Quick charge within an hour from 20% to 100%
- Instant 1 sec picture taking
- nice Color screen
- come with HDMI cable for TV connection
- very smooth video
What I like to see improvement -
- BATTERY life (only last most 10 hours)with moderate usage. about 15% surfing time, 25% talk time, 5% game time, 10% SMS, 5% other and 40% standby
- NO external car support
- Camera picture quality (high noise)
- bottom 3 touch less sensitive
- improve user interface experience. feel Apple still better in this area.
Overall I think it's still a good phone if you don't mind the short BATTERY LIFE and AVERAGE PHOTO QUALITY. If ask me I would consider again for Samsung S2.
Hey guyz..... Well I bought a black Xperia S and it is quite awesome...
It was strange that my box had two USB cable...
Battery life is good if you don't run unncessary app in the background....

Had one sent it back in under a week. The size is ludicrous, I mean wh o wants to carry a widescreen telly around in their pocket. The camera was really bad when using the digital zoom - I know dig zoom will pixellate things but it was just blurry and a real dissapointment. The 3 "hardware buttons" are just fiddly and the clear plasticy bit at the bottom serves no visible purpose but to extend the phone so far as to earn it the nickname of "the barge."
Look I like sony products, I treasures my Carbon firbre Vaio and polished my PSP daily. But, I was embarrassed at just how stupidly big this thing is and there are more "phones" that are even larger.
i got xperia s like 5 days bak and i got a update 2day after tat my phone got crashed now nothing is happening tired to contact the customer care also i follwed the instructions given but still cudnt work it out so guys pls pls b careful while updating ur device as i remmber the update's last 2 digits was 73
Just got rid of my xperia s for the htc one s and i can say that yes the screen on the xperia s is nicer but other than that the one s is much better in all areas. And the people worrying about the pentile display on the one s there really isnt anything to worry about you cant even notice it
O'rly, 11 Apr 2012Been having it for a little less than a week now. If your in an area with good WIFI coverage, ... morei should have a good WIFI coverage cause im using my X10 as a hotspot... im not going to just use the XPERIA S as internet browser. i want to use everything on it, including sync, camera, VoIP, whatsapp... so the wifi will be on passive even screen is off. also there will not be a SIM card in the XPERIA S. if it last around 5-7 hours with all these then this phone should be fine for me...
awosome . blosome. phone... SONY is back. go for it guys..its grt phone.
sahil, 05 Apr 2012Choose Galaxy Choose Galaxy Nexus?! That Nexus was a failure, the only good side is that it was the first to come with OS 4.0 but now, official update to Xperia S is already avaiable, so if you really read the review the better option for that guy is Xperia S...Even S2 is better than Nexus lol
3vilhomer, 09 Apr 2012how bad is the battery life?? i was hoping this phone can work on USA tmobile 3G but it seems ... moreBeen having it for a little less than a week now. If your in an area with good WIFI coverage, it'll last around 5-7 hours on one full charge.(assuming you're doing adequate browsing, and battery drop to 10%)
Uhmm, guys? The 'new' Data monitor feature is not at all new. All the 2011 Xperia phones have that. Even the interface hasn't changed.
