>>so the lower ___single-core___ performance (the CPU is clocked at 800MHz) doesn't seem to be a problem.
First page said: "800MHz ___dual-core___ processor".
BTW, what kind of CPU is there? IDK any dual-core CPUs which has been clocked at 800 MHz.
Probably there is downclocked NovaThor U8500 cpu. It's dual-core, equiped with Mali400MP gpu, and already used by Samsung in GT-i8530 Galaxy Beam.
Must be an under-clocked ST-Ericsson NovaThor chip. Good chance it can be overclocked to ~1.2GHz.
molotofc, 25 Apr 2012Try type in the word 'galaxy' in the phone search abovehaha, then you will only have 200 phones to select from. Well done Samsung.
lethalforce, 26 Apr 2012between samsung galaxy W and galaxy ace 2...which 1 is better....??I would say the Ace 2 is better because the W got bad reviews about the quality of it's display.
eka, 27 Apr 20122012 phone with no ICS. seems that Samsung love to Samsunged their buyers :)and did I miss that being discussed in the review? Maybe?
Izzy, 27 Apr 2012I'd be very interested to know how this compares to the Galaxy W, especially the 800mHz dual c... moreYes it's is a shame that the review seemed obsessed with comparing it with the original Ace because um, er ,hmm .... because it had a similar name.
I'd be very interested to know how this compares to the Galaxy W, especially the 800mHz dual core vs. the 1.4GHz single core. Storage and RAM could be the deal-breaker for me though (and could spell the difference in performance).
2012 phone with no ICS.
