To buy this i rather buy HTC ONE X. Design of htc 1 x is much much beter than this. Samsung u really need to go get a new designer and who r incharge S3 design? Why would they approve this design for sgs3. I will not buy this, it is a shame to take this phone out of my pocket..

It's strange what I see some people whining about...design? really? and what school of design did u all go to? I guess I don't have that queer eye but design is least on my list. Now I've seen 12mp and higher cameras that pics suck so 8mp is good if it takes a good pic( after all it's still a phone). Don't ask for a hugh battery and don't expect a somewhat big device. Some of you will never find that perfect phone you're looking for....sry

Screens have different geometry (1.78:1 on SIII vs 1.67:1 on SII) so it may look like they made some improvements in that department. Sadly, bezels are about the same width...

Ugly like hell. Looks like a cheap mobile phone from China. SGSII is much better looking compared to this wretched piece of junk.
P.S. Curved end design is so lame and cheesy.

The impressive things are just software... All the "amazing" things SGS3 can do, could be done by any other phone with the right app.

from my point of view samsung took advantage of the size, since the phone is only 1 cm taller and 4 mm wider. It doesn't seem so significant change for me. form is not the best, but acceptable. And the and the features are wonderful

On the quadrant my SGS2 (ICS) scored 4103 and I have the screen shot to prove it, I think the S4 will be the next big thing

S II is a bit large for a mid-sized hand (like mine), but I soon grew accustomed to it.

Surely by increasing the size it will take customers away from galaxy note. Dont like the curves on s3 though as it makes it look cheap like galaxy mini! They should have made it look at least a bit more like s2 but apple dont like anything too square from its competitors. Its a good job apple doesnt build houses as everyone else would have some odd shape brick work!

However even the S2 was a bit large for my taste ... really think the ideal and most functional sized phone has a 4inch screen thus enabling one hand operation and easy placement in and removal of phone from one's trousers!! (for male users)
