Was the picture taken at the same time ? Could the author offer the EXIF ? If the picture was not taken at the same time, the comparison was useless.

I used to think that iPads suck and the Android tablets are better. Well, I have both iPad 2 and Transformer Prime. Which one do you prefer? I bet you hate the iPad. Guess what, buy a TP over an iPad 2 and you'll regret it. Buy an HTC One X and I bet you my TP:)(I'll never bet my iPad 2), that you'll regret it when you'll see someone else with a SGS 3.

Do you see anyone complaining about the TP's or iPad 2 resolution? Let's get real here! Yes, people go for the best, but the "Best" is SGS III, for the time beying!

Everybody is complaining about the battery life, but i charge it every night, i have the one x and after a long day it's still 35%.

btw: s-voice: you will never use it unless there are friends around you and you're acting to be cool
s-beam: you need 2 gs3's, and not everyone wants such an ugly phone (sorry, my opinion)
touchwiz: AUTCH! HTC SENSE 4 FOR LIFE BABYY!
camera: both shoot beautifull pictures, htc one x very fast, samsung copied that very nice. make a movie and take photo's at that time, AW-SOME!
screen: super amoled will never win it from IPS S-LCD2, cause of its "unreal" collors!

            so, htc for me :)

Alui, 13 May 2012Wrong, there are no 1/3 pixels less, sorry, you are wrong. It's the same number of pixels with... moreOk you make some valid points, and I agree.. what does an extra 144,000 pixels mean for the screen, right? if you say this and believe it, what real life difference is the SGS3 going to have in Facebook, Mail, Internet, Phone calls, Angry birds, as a matter of fact, what difference is having that extra little bit of power going to have in any application you use on your phone?

Thats why so many people are going to choose the HTC, because they know, the differences in real life use, not some garbage tests, is going to be build quality, looks, style, and a beautiful user interface.. the nerds will love there extra quadrant points.. and for what? To help them get over the fact that the SGS3 is not an attractive phone, and made of shiny plastic like an ass plug or something.

I am bit concerned with HTC quality issues. But heck, as long as phone on the warranty, it should be fine.

I did look at One S in the shop today, and I have seen pentile checkerboard pretty well, that's why I am concerned that most likely Galaxy III is not for me...

Probably go to One x this time, which has better build quality and good-looking/intuitive outside and inside. S3 has better battery life, which I really care about. But I still have to charge both of them everyday when I get home.

S3 is winner in all aspects except design and low light capture!

the HTC One X may have a better looking body BUT tests have proven that that white matte polycarbonate unibody is very prone to getting blue-dyed if you are fond of putting your phone in your jeans pocket....it is why Nokia had their white Lumias glossed to prevent this...so the Galaxy S3's glazed body is better in that respect....

I hate people complaining about the style of the Galaxy SIII and saying the HTC looks so much better. Look at the picture on the first page of the review, side by side they look very similar..

                                  Well, I side with htc, don't ask why i didn't choose SG3
the thing is...HTC is better in chip, design and it goes on...SG3 is indeed great but it cost much, htc does same thing for less price.
In Egypt, the htc cost 4k and the SG3 will cost 6k
and remember that Htc is mainly about android cell phones .. Quality
                                  one more thing
samsung got this logo "made for humans" ? we are apes or someshit...

Why? Nothing embarrassing about that because both are crazy fast phones! Amazingly enough the GS3 is also no faster in real life because the difference is often in milliseconds or less. Thank you for pointing this out! I'm sick of Android fans placing so much emphasis on synthetic benchmarks that mean nothing.

I couldn't believ... moreEven if you like Samsung, you should at least be reasonable. Quality of videos? The GS3 does far worse in low light. Same for the camera. I'd take the superior low light performance and the marginally worse daylight performance of the One X any day. Second gen gorilla glass is apparently only thinner not stronger. Test results mean nothing. 25gb of dropbox storage is enough for most people man.
