AnonD-47262, 12 May 2012lol nice excuseExcuse? It's true. I think most people (except maybe on this site) care about about real life performance more than benchmarks. Real life performance between the two are near identical because they're both blazing fast.
ouch and another feature yet arrives for samsung android phones.
htc boys says ouch!
Samsung Galaxy S3, secrets revealed: Battery life, exFAT, Apt-X
WiiMotes now (finally!) work on stock Samsung firmwares
USB OTG, powers greatly expanded
dam...this is quite a year.... Samsung s3 will havean advantage when jelly bean comes out since it is quite clowe to stock vanilla ICS. steve jobs is dead .... no more surprises from the big A. long live android :)
lol @ all the htc fans who are in denial.
making up excuses wont get u better audio quality. it wont get u better battery life. it wont get you the better user experience.
hox got beat by the gs3. deal with it. gs3 is better. lol all the hox has is a beautiful design. sgs3 has the performance which is what matters most.
reviewer is very diplomatic by not choosing the winner, for me S3 definatly wins over HTC oneX .
AnonD-36731, 12 May 2012Said like a true fanboy. I have never watched that much video on a phoneI do. I use it during my free time at work to watch tv series that I downloaded at home.
AnonD-54474, 12 May 2012I have android today and I know that it is sluggish and slow (Xperia Arc) compared to Iphone 4... moreWhy, what's the point. They are completely different phones (sizes) intended for different user requirements.
wasted review, 12 May 2012Guys you have done some 10 pages of review and still not picked a winner. Android was a winner... moreIt depends on what the user needs the phone for. Only a fanboy selects a clear winner when phones are better for some users but not others.
And it would be weird to select a future phone over a current one. Or in this case three future phones over a current one.
Oh and comparing devices on two different OS versions using benchmark software which performs differently on each version.
The purpose of this article is to get/keep people interested in the site. Otherwise they would be doing a Xperia S, One S and One V battery test and a review for the Sola.
Why are people saying the HTC wins on display? The HTC has brighter whites and is barely sharper (except on extreme close inspection). The S3 on the other hand has better black levels, colour accuracy, contrast, viewing angles and sunlight viewing.
I'd say the S3 takes that too. In-fact, based on this comparison, the only non-subjective thing the One X beats the S3 at is in low light camera capability. But everything else, the S3 won out pretty easily.
AnonD-54475, 12 May 2012The only reason the one s won was because it has a qhd screen which means the processor doesn'... moreNo, haven't you seen the benchmark comparison part of this article? Go figure...
Anonymous, 12 May 2012Htc one x had better camera over one x,outdoor s3 is better, indoor no doubt one x do a better ... moreThe One X camera was only better at taking pictures in low light!
I actually think the blue S3 is really beautiful, while One X is boring brown/grey, and HTC Sence is really becoming old and boring while the new "TouchWiz" on S3 look really nice and close to stock Android!
When it comes to still and video camera, audio, benchmark and features, One X got schooled by GS3. That's tolerable, though, but...
only 5 hours of video playback?!? Damn that's just downright pathetic! And no expandable memory and interchangeable battery sucks for HOX as well. GSMArena won't say it cuz they don't want to hurt the feelings of HTC fanboys, but i'll say it anyway; GS3 wins, One X pwned!!!
KnicK-KnacK, 12 May 2012The S3 and One X BOTH lost all CPU intensive benchmarks to the One S. The S3 won the GPU focu... moreThe only reason the one s won was because it has a qhd screen which means the processor doesn't has to deal with so many pixels, being able to be slightly faster than the s3
