On the camera comparison, it seems like some of the photos were switched. HTC one X has a pinkish tinge on white images or colors, it's apparent even on other sites or videos i'd seen. Here, it looks like they were switched where the samsung galaxy s 3 looked like it has the pinkish tinge.

S3 is definitely not ugly,
If you liked Nexus design, you'll definitely like the S3.
And the 'Marble White' S3 looks spectacular.

Pricing will be the factor to consider between this 2...One X has better build quality with less performance. GS III is exactly the opposite... The point is you cant have both at once...N yes the S III doesn't look bad at all....it least it looks way better than Iphone.... Most people would disagree but seriously...are you that blinded by Apple that it has to tell you what to like and what to not?? You can't even change your theme!!! WTH!!! Its 2012!!!

SIII looks really ugly as much as it could, to the point where reasons don't matter. Even through I knew One X is (not) a bit looser, I just can't accept to hold SIII which is in my point of view a brick of garbage.

SIII released don't change anything. It only makes me go and get One X without having to wait for a better phone. I hope HTC will update its akward software soon.

AnonD-44302, 12 May 2012i know that onex sales would b nothing as compared to s3...i already mentioned it before but t... morethink of what?

i'll give it a thought if ipone use android, but it is not,
so, Back to you.

'people buy by looking at others and not by there own preference'
Nobody that i know.

S2 was the clear winner because it worth it. It was the Best phone. very poor of you if you're trying to say samsung sold 20m of s2 because ppl can't make their own mind. it was simply unmatched by others.
so, we'll see again end of this year.

i wanted to buy HOX, but as i do more research, read more review. i knew i would regret if i get it. so, it is worth to wait for S3.

the only regret is the build Q, i give it to HOX.
Again, i prefer bigger, ability to have extra batt(slimmer also). & seriously what's with the bulging lens?
not like the covered that with Gorilla Glass 2, eh?

AnonD-12118, 12 May 2012yup.. own logic & money. we should just wait until end of year, then see which phones s... morei know that onex sales would b nothing as compared to s3...i already mentioned it before but thats unfair...but again i would mention that people buy by looking at others and not by there own preference....poor world:).....and if sales is only criteria to find out whats the best then the biggest example is iphone....a sole device with highest market share alone:)...and guess what your words-"i dont give a damn abt iphone"

:)

On the last part, I think GSMA is just being modest to HTC. I mean, there's no point of putting the word versus on the title if there's no winner. In the end of all versus matches, there should only be winners, losers and/or draw. The title should be Samsung GS3 and HTC One X comparison or somethin like that... Just saying. :)

After reading this article i think I'd go for a One S rather than these two.
It has all the features of the One X (I don't care about HD screens, i'm perfectly fine with the WVGA resolution of my current 4"phone, qHD is enough for 4,3" and at least the it's an AMOLED).
Also: slimmer aluminum body, better battery life thanks to the Krait cores, same camera, and it even beats the X in performance(if we can believe the benchmarks). Oh, and it will be cheaper too.

The samsung is ugly - looks, interface, everything.

yup.. own logic & money.

we should just wait until end of year, then see which phones sold the most, doesn't matter if HOX has 2 months at the helm without worthy competitor.

Yup! I really don't get why the slight "edge" on image quality in DAY LIGHT gets the GS3 the win over the HOX on the summary page for camera quality, when the HOX the GS3 in lower light situations.

Smartphones, like P&S cameras generally do daylight shots well. You have to do 100% zooms to find differences. But the difference between the HOX and the GS3 in low light is so massive that you can tell even if you zoom OUT! I really don't understand why they gave the GS3 the win in image quality...

Ifva benchmark shows Galaxy S2 on top , then its good ! And if not , its not compatible with android !
Comon man ... One s ( krait cores) is much powerfulk than samsung advertised galaxy s . One s has the upper hand despite less screen resolution .

lols someone has to look pixel deep in order to see differences in daylight pictures. you've got to be blind in order not to see the huge difference! sgs3 clearly blew htc x in daylight pictures. even when you don't zoom those gsmarena pics, you can clearly see which one's better how much more zoomed.
in low light conditions, we all agree htc x's are better.

since you were so biased and only chose one area where your htc x won, why don't we put all things into perspective and include major things that will really be put to use in real life and not some synthetic benchmarks as other say:

sgs3 wins daylight condition pics.
your htc wins lowlight condition pics.

sgs3 wins in battery life.

now good luck having to charge your MOBILE every now and then while it's IMMOBILIZED because you're SUPPOSED MOBILE is IMMOBILIZED for being connected to a charger.
