I would prefer to see how the wp8 devices perform. Even Samsung itslf is hedging bets and producing high end wp8 devices. After all Samsung does not have to be loyal to Android and can use any os if it is on the market. I think wp8 devices will be more business focused than Android and therefore of interest to me where Android tries to be everythging but is not. People should stop ranting about benchmarks etc when they are not relevant to the ordinary user. If you can get a SII new for half its original price then get it, otherwise wait and see what wp8 is all about.

Hmm the each of the galaxy brothers occupy different price levels as of now.
If your budget allows it,go for the s3.
However, the arrival of the s3 pushed down the prices of secondhand s2s.
So you can have the s2 for a bargain now.
And even up to the next 16 months, the s2 would still be a very capable smartphone.
Whichever of the two you choose, you will come out ahead.
Either in terms of features or price/performance.

Hi Gsmarena,
it will be great if you can include the parameter of thermal efficiency or heating of the phone in your reviews. It would be very helpful for comparison especially in an era of muti-core cpu,s. In the end phone should remain usable for heavy app users or gamers

economist, 08 Jul 2012that is why I never buy samsung. they make your device to become old in 5 month. it is not fair.who cares if you phone looks old? as long as it is doing excellent, why buy new phones? especially if that phone is sII, I'd rather not buy sIII. sII is good.

not s3 is not better because it success as a phone and because samsung wants to market it in the middle east before release galaxy s2 ics which to me samsung will lose its loyal customer soons by this move. bye samsung racist and hello apple , thank you apple for giving the whole world an upgrade and not being racist like samsung mobile company.
