F works for me (A coming second) in this subjective test.
If it actually is the PureView, wow !
From the best to the worst.
1- E: PureView.
2- F: the Dslr.
3- A: N8.
4- B: Galaxy S3.
5- D: iPhone 4s.
6- C: HTC One X.
And please compare with abetter Dslr, Because it appeared beside PureView like atoy.
i love my n8 phone (images A), but the best is E followed by F and n8
E the best
One request for GSMarena.. After the verdict of this blind test has been made can you show us the 808's with all its 38 mpx glory version of those same shots. I mean without the oversampled-8-mpx shots.. Thanks!
it is hard to say which one is better between E and F,
they are both gorgeous and far ahead of the other competitors,i vote for E if i have to
E the best
F second best
A very good, natural colors
B,D sharp, not so good colors
C no coment
Image E is definitely the Pureview 808.
Image F might be Olympus E-PL2.
I guess N8 would be image B this time, N8 is notable in producing yellowish image.
Image A is for Iphone4s(colors looks more natural).
S3 for image D(notice the over-saturation of colors and the digitally-rendered sharpness).
And Image C, might be HTC oneX(as it's noted for producing worst sharpness and color production).
From best to worst:
E = 808
F = Olympus E-PL2
B = N8
A = Iphone4s
D = S3
C = OneX
CnetAsia also performed the same test with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5. Though LX5 handles white balance more accurately, 808 pureview still outperforms the LX5 from 5mp,8mp to 38mp.
E and F generally best, on balance across all images F just wins for me.
